**Official Gigabyte Z77X-UD5H Discussion Thread**

i've got this board & its running on the f10 bios with a 3570k at stock, in general its been ok, its a bit sluggish loading & i was wondering if i should load the new bios, also if i load the new bios updates, do i need to load each update or do i just move to F15 ?

F15m is bug on overclocking setting ( from 35x to 48x and save F10 and reboot and still on 3.5GHz and couldn't get 4.8GHz as I try reset bios and still the same. ) revert bios to F14 and overclocking setting now working ok.

my Gigabyte Z77X-UP5 shipped today think i might have made a mistake tbh i loved asus software seems you get sod all with gigabyte

I heard the fan control is crap on this board?

that shouldn't be a problem tho as most fans come with a switch to slow them and speed them up? Its also going into a corsair 500r case
that comes with 3 fans that will connect to the psu right the fans on that case
And it has a fan controller on it

You can connect another 4 fans to this board right?

There is lots of problem with USB 3.0 not recognizing device and it very annoyed as I had to turn off the main power to get it working again. It no issues on USB 2.0 but always not recognizing device on USB 3.0 on gigabyte z77x ud5h f14

^^^^ that happens quite a lot for me, it also happens on my other system, which has a Z77 D3H board in it.
With this board it tends to be more of an issue with the front USB 3 headers than the rear. Sometimes those ports don't seem to wake from a S3 sleep and thus the system needs a full reboot to get them working as they should.

bios revisions have made no difference for either board. Disabling and re-enabling the USB controller in the device manager makes no difference, it is a full reboot which is needed.
