***Official GTX 670 thread***

my cards arrived

1 boost 1230
2 boost 1200
3 boost 1170

evga FTF :D

I would say that's about average (no ambiguity there boost and a number) and I'm guessing you also tested them properly ;)

I had a Directcu top that would only run about 1200, I read the new 680 Lightnings are barely going 1300 and Evga 680 Classified Less and not even 1300 with extra volts !!

I think you made the best choice anyway... enjoy the cards, so not really FTF :D

I am looking at possibly the MSI GeForce GTX 670 TwinFrozr IV Power Edition OC 2048MB GDDR5 as an upgrade to my MSI 570 Twin FroZr III PE OC.

I am running a AMD Phenom II X6 1090T at 3.2ghz, 8gb ram on a Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3 AMD 990FX board. Would this run nicely on my setup?

no experience of the msi's but havent heard a bad word about the windforces, i seem to have a really good sample and will do 1350mhz but a hear a lot are hitting 1275mhz-1300mhz

Guys GTX670 windforce or MSI Power Edition - which is better choice.
Anyone has MSI PE OC card?
Must be quiet.

Before I got my Palit 670 I bought the Windforce because it was fault to be one of the best of bunch but the card I got was faulty. Probably just bad luck on my part but I have never had a faulty GPU before in 20yrs of building PCs so kinda put me off Gigabyte.
I will say it is was VERY quiet, but my Palit cards are just as quiet.

Well it is great card, very quiet and well clocker. The problem I have that when card is working for a longer time with 52-58% of fan speed , one of the fans is tearing when slowing down.It takes maybe 2-5 seconds, but sometimes is annoying.
Other than that is great card.
