****Official GTX580 user reviews/benchmarking/overclocking thread****

same got my 580 and whent water cooling straight away temps dont get above 30 no matter how long i play games for. with my old 480 it constantly hit 100 and fans would be spinning full wack after a min not sre what its temps would be on water tho.

ek580 acetel. thought it would be hard to install with you having to stick the screw mounts on with paste but its very simple. only prob for me was one of the screws got chewed when removed the gtx 580 stock cooler.

pick of when i leak tested last weekend

one thing id recommend is getting the back plate as well. mine kinda leans downward new the power connector ends and plate is meant to stop this from happening

They are all reference cards and made by Nvidia. Your paying for the warranty and thats it with the current batch.

I'm due to get my OCUK 580 today (if the snow doesn't interfere) so I will post here with what brand it is. I think Gibbo said they were a mix of PNY and Inno3D cards.

EDIT: Received it earlier. It's a Palit card. Comes with a nice mini-HDMI to full-HDMI lead, which is good.

So in effect they are all the same then?

What sort of clocks should you be getting out of the 580 on stock volts?
