Official iPad (2012 model) Accessories Thread

I had the official Apple case for my ipad 1 and wanted something similar so ordered one of these:

£9.99 and the new iPad fits in it perfectly. It has a hard back so plenty of protection and it's also nice and slim so doesn't add much bulk. The 'leather' could be a little bit softer as its a bit slippy to hold but it'll keep things protected until I find the perfect case.
 
Looks like he put the price up :p Looks good though. Ah he has the white for £9.99 but the black on you linked to is £14.99

Hope the sleep on/off works on those cases.

The theory on MacRumours behind some cases not working is down to the polarity of the magnets in the cases. They reckon the iPad 2 just had something magnetic inside, while the iPad 3 actually has a magnet. So depending which way the magnets are in the case will obviously make a difference.

Works absolutely fine on mine, although it does look like it may be a case of luck (excuse the pun!)

I've gone for the invisible shield and a cheap knock off red smart cover that apparently still works with the sleep features! We will see! It's only £7 :)

I'm also worried about that! As I already have the full body shield on it I don't really need the hard case, but it was only £5 so thought it was worth a punt. Should be here on Tuesday and I'll plate with pics and a little review
