They probably do, but its definatly a common issue, if you do a quick google it comes up loads. Apparently apple replace your casing if its happens in some cases.

£9.99 and the new iPad fits in it perfectly. It has a hard back so plenty of protection and it's also nice and slim so doesn't add much bulk. The 'leather' could be a little bit softer as its a bit slippy to hold but it'll keep things protected until I find the perfect case.

I got one of those, how in the hell do you fit the ipad in ? its to tight and I dare not try and force it any more than I am :confused:

It's a tight fit but I just had to get the first 3 corners in and then just ease the last corner up and over.

Tried that from every corner its literally impossible :mad:

EDIT: With an unholy amount of force, its finally in place , the ipad was creaking putting it in though :S

+1 the smart cover is rubbish, just falls off all the time, especially if you have kids using it.

Folio is the way to go. Looks smarter and better protection.

Interested to see how that pans out, I'll still looking around myself and hating having no screen protector or case, feels so naked & risky!!

haha, got the same dilemma, though currently looking at the Colcasac as a solution. They look pretty nice to keep it secure when taking around in my bag or when its not being used.

Yes, I know how you feel, my IP is still in the plastic cover it was wrapped in, until the case arrives.

Are the IPad 2&3 covers the same because the only shop around here that has them is Argos and they say for IPad 2 in the description, or would I be better off buying a cheap knockoff. Also if I put that on the front what's the best way to protect the back?

They are the same, there is no difference.

I use a Belkin sleeve to protect the back when not in use, the smart cover suffices for when it is.

Can anyone recommend me a case that they've used first hand? Needs to protect both front and back, have a built in stand with a flat base (so I can put it on my knee and its stable) and has a magnatised front so it can put the ipad to sleep.

My iPad ion CarbonCover fits my iPad 3 (not properly, has a the ipad 3 is slightly fatter, but it does protect it).

Only problem is the magnet doesn't switch the iPad on/off as Apple moved the location of the magnet on the iPad 3, so most iPad 2 cases won't make use of the lock/unlock feature.

I've ordered a JammyLizard iPad 3 case now... might turn up today hopefully!
