I registered to the website, does it take a while for the activation email to come through?
Looking for some casual play because my single player builds always seem wasted...

Is monster similar to unleashed, I have been playing the latter for some time?

I'll be in on the race track too, just need to find time to put some hours into it.

Also looks like Dinnerbone gloem has gonna walkies from my spawn battenburg build :-(.

Also did some landscaping on the spawn area, what's people's thoughts? I think it looks much better :-)
 
Rightyho - goldfarm mkII incorporating Magma Cubes (Magma Cream) and Ghasts (Ghast Tears) now has a design - the spawn area is 4 lots of 80x6 slabs with a shifting floor and ghast crusher. There will be a floor shifting mech and a ghast crusher. Below will be a loot collection area plus a Magma Cube grinder area. I'm planning on hopper collection, but we'll have to see about mats - I may have to incorporate a minecart hopper per spawn pad, but these aren't as good (imvho of course ^_^)

A rough mats list for how I want to build it is as follows:

Glass 10
Pistons 10
Gates 10
Comparators 10
Repeaters 10
Redstone Block 20
Tripwire Hooks 20
Sticky Pistons 30
String 100
Iron Blocks 125
Hoppers 95
HalfSlabs 260
Sand 12
Cactus 48 ideal but can use 12 if needed.

Plus a few more redstone bits for a sorter and a few chests for loot.

If you feel like donating any mats, please do, although I do have plenty of halfslabs, and don't worry too much about iron blocks :)

I have no idea as to the spawn rates, but it'll be a laugh. I'll leave a whole stack load of chests near the spawn station if you wanna dump mats in.

Been a while since I've played on the link tart servers, been a while since I've played minecraft at all saying the.

Not sure if I'm still white listed on any of them, managed to get on the monster server, but need building permission, what server/version is everyone playing on?

Could a mod sort those out for me pretty please :)

Well one pad is complete, I think Ham is working on item sorting but its up and running.

Would be nice to see a few more people helping with big builds like this both in the actual construction and the mats to build it, take a look at the above list and if you can give any of the above apart from iron blocks and hoppers please add the to the chests near the spawn cart station.

Hey hey - Dubs and I are making good progress on the new gold-farm, but we need more mats. The stuff we really need are:

String 50 Stacks
Cactus 31 stacks
Gates 10 stacks
Halfslabs - All of them in the world please - stone preferred so we can make as we need

Most of the other gear we've managed to get between the two of us by either using our stores of gear or afking at various farms.

If you want to donate any stuff on the list (hoppers and iron excluded lol) then please do - especially string and cactus.

A big thanks to Alex who has donated some stuff. Cheers Alex.

Two pads now done with killing floors. We've also done a flesh disposer and item sorter and elevator up to the afk point.

There is a minute possibility a ghast could spawn at the afk point, but it's encased in glass and won't see you anyway. Rates seem to be favourable - the pic below is one hour afk



Not too shabby I'm sure you'll agree. It will only increase with the addition of two more pads.

Here's a pic of it so far - two more pads at either end to go!!!



Like I said, feel free to donate mats and thanks once again to Alex who has done so :)

It makes gold with the addition of magma creams, gunpowder and ghast tears!! It's not as efficient as my old gold farm for just gold, but has the addition of the extra loot :) It works by forcing mobs to spawn where we want them too.

Gazzab's St Paul's cathedral at spawn is well worth a look as well, plus some pixel art out that way too. Dunno who did that. ^_^ There's some other nice builds coming along too.
