******Official Star Citizen / Squadron 42 Thread******

"During the kick-start phase, Chris Roberts asked you and every other new old school backer if you want cig to increase scope and create the game u will see planned for 1.0 and most said yes please make the best most highly detailed space game u can.
Most voted against just having a Starfield type game and wanted full planet exploration and base building /crafting.
Why are you shocked?"

see if there's any sense of humour offers in BLack Friday sales.

Jumped in with some mates fighting the Idris on one of the Save Stanton missions. Using one of the turrets on the Polaris...
15fps, huge desyncs, janky turret modes, no party markers, inventory display bugs... Is this the normal experience and some of my friends are just mindless shills that won't accept any criticism of the game, or am I just cursed with the experience I have in this game at the moment?

I've probably not had a remotely decent play session in SC for over a year now.

Normal experience mate.

Sometimes you get good days though. It's not like this 100 percent of the time.

No you're pretty much bang on for these events, they are all like this if not worse, it is much better when they aren't running.

Space truckin... just a shame I only just found out the docking arms on stations are broken again, Lost nearly 700k of cargo :D

Really cool when it worked. 3 years ago.....

Ironically I was in someone else's polaris and they managed to dock it to a station.

But the question you should be wondering is did we manage to undock successfully? Hehe

There was a Polaris at the same station at the other side of the docking area at another arm trying to dock and he couldn't dock either, The reticule that comes up on screen during docking is also bugged as it only shows you align with the arm if you are nowhere near it at which point it doesn't dock.

Been eyeing this up on Steam for a while if you need a game where this may work Jonney :D

Pretty decent, Played a few hours on Gamepass. It's basically American Truck Simulator in space.

Ah good to know mate :)

I have really clicked with the little ugly Intrepid over the past few days, great little run around if you can see past it's bizarre design.

I did love the Herald concept though so perhaps this is ticking that need.

Only thing missing is a suit locker, but guess in the Intrepid you could just stick a box on the 3 shelves to the left of the gun racks near the bunk rather than any of the actual cargo area.

Edit - ignore just remember it has one at the end of the hall next to the bunk!

There is a suit locker in the intrepid! That's one of the highlights over most of the starter ships
