******Official Star Citizen / Squadron 42 Thread******

That is funny but let’s be reasonable. The effort of the greatest minds across a huge spectrum of contries contributed to the success of Apollo. Plus war is an extremely good motivator in the propaganda of stuff like this.

Can you imagine from a Russian perspective how demoralising it would be loosing to the Americans after holding the glory of Sputnik for so long? Suddenly they weren’t the space masters (granted today they are the only people with a human worth launch vehicles) until space x and Boeing pass their certification with NASA with their manned flight tests later this year! Exciting times.

But rambling about space asside it’s still not an unreasonable production timeline compared to other games. People don’t seem to get that games aren’t made in 2 years unless they are rinse and repeats like COD BF fifa and the likes. Can you imagine how good a cod game could be if they actually worked on it for 6 years? It might actually be innovative!

No Mans Sky’s NEXT update has really put me in the mood to give Star Citizens latest update ago, sadly I don’t have enough room on my PC to install it, would it fit on a 128gb SSD? And what’s the likely hood the full game will also fit on the SSD?

Cheers

No chance the full launch will fit on a 128gb drive pal.

Years ago they estimated it at 100gb but so much has been added since.

I’ve not played it in ages now but some of the stuff I’ve seen has been pretty good.

Still awaiting the “god patch” though

I still think around 100GB is fine, but let's be honest by the time we're at release 1TB SSDs will likely be far more reasonably priced and I'll have a flying car.

I jest, hopefully but you get my point 129Gb drives are pretty cheap these days as are 256 and we still have quite a wait for the full release.

Mr Optane here ;)

Nice one guys, oh and harry, it’s nice to see that your still alive and kicking mate, it’s been a while!

I might as well pick up a 250gb SSD and use it as a dedicated Star Citizen drive.
