How does she feel flight wise vs the Cutlass? It's obviously a bigger ship, so will be slower.
I ask since it's basically like a beefed up big brother to that in terms of features.

I imagine it's a bit more nimble than an Andromeda going by the stats.
ED: How about vs a Redeemer? That thing's a bit of a slug.

It is quite a large ship, at least Connie size, top speed is about 950 Mps, not good, handling wise its heavy, a little bit floaty, it does feel a lot like the Connie, its not bad for a bigger ship but floaty enough to have a degree of difficulty honing in on small ships when you're not using gimbals.

I think the Titan is more useful and personally I far prefer the looks of it over the cutter. The titan's is a good bit wider though because of the wings. And it might have less hp / armour as well. But a lot more cargo space and you can get directly into the cockpit which saves so much time :) I see the appeal for the cutter though as this cheap tiny run about ship like the Pisces.
Yep, I do like the Titan, and if it was updated to a gold standard it would be a no brainer for me. But right now there are multiple aspects of it that feel a bit lacking compared to some of the new ships. I suspect I'll upgrade to the Avenger in the future, but Cutter might tide me over until then!

Ok, I guess that's where having crew on turrets comes in.
It'd be OP AF if it could turn on a dime.

I really do just use it as a shuttle to get places. Effectively no respawn timer. The inventory is great for grabbing loot from things. Climbing straight into the pilot chair. And I love the space shuttle look to it.

What I am struggling with is what T2 ship to get. I don't like the Cutty, the new Spirit looks great but they made it a cargo ship or bomber. So it's just a scaled up titan spec wise. It's top profile is also huge. It's square, which will make it such an easy target to be hit.

My standard go to is always the Vanguard. Interior, solid for PvE, can get around Stanton quickly with it's decent fuel tank and a fast size 2 quantum drive. I'll try and do something different next reset though, will really come down to what other missions and activities are working well. Maybe the cargo refactor and some cargo delivery missions (to skip the hassle of actually buying/selling) will open things up for me to go towards a Hull A or a Raft.
Like you I'm half interested with the Spirit, it's a nice looking thing. But with no solid ETA on when it will be playable, combined with the huge profile for a relatively small amount of interior space I'm not so sure. I'd have loved it to be a bigger Titan without the huge wing profile!

Despite literally everyone in the world telling me not to buy an Eclipse, I bought an Eclipse, I will melt it down, though and just keep it in my buybacks. Going to buy a few more ships between now and the end of IAE, and I think on the last day, I'll buy a Harbinger. I know the Eclipse is a one-trick pony but I'm hoping with salvage coming in 3.18 there are going to be some salvage ships I can blow up :D

I was looking at the ships again and I don't think I'll buy anything. There are some ships I'd like but not for the prices they're charging. I'd be happy to grind for them ingame. The Spirit and Redeemer I think are the only ones I'm considering as that good mid sized ship. I'd love to have a Glaive as they're cool but I have the Gladiator and don't need two fighters.

If they the timescales were better from announcement to release I'd be more interested in some. Liberator which was the big thing not long ago isn't even on the roadmap anymore.

The Eclipse fills a small niche but does it very well. Which most ships can't say currently.

I haven't even logged into sc 3.17.4

I haven't logged in since 3.16. Just chilled waiting for 3.18.1 tbh before having another blast and probably check out the race tracks with my Titan and Nox.

Other than that happy waiting for more depth to gameplay loops and 4.0. Newer outpost facilities with proper mission loops would be good too. Seem like the medium sized they showed off could have missions for cargo hauling, refining, mining, sabotage, hacking, blackmail, assassinate all happening at one location with dozens of plays doing own thing at same time. Link those locations with quantum and NPCs and there could be solid gameplay loops around them.

Tbh if I had the cash I probably would have spent another £50, got rid of my Titan and Nox and brought something a little more general use and slightly larger with the extra but I just can't justify it for the gameplay time I put in now and so might as well just earn in game tbh.

This Super Mac video about possible 3.18 is pretty solid to see where at. I am not sure it truly means we will get it in December but what actually in patch is reasonable.

At best, wave 1 ptu for xmas IMO.

That's the most wonderfully vague answer. You are indeed an enigma, Mr Mendoza :D

Yeah, I guess 4xS3 + 2xS2 gimballed pilot weapons along with co-pilot remote and 2 manned turrets are pretty tasty.
72 SCU cargo/vehicle space also make it versatile.

Fair enough, guys. I take it back. She ain't bad :)
Haha.

try it. Its free to try during IAE.
