Then you just need a full CPU
Haha... yeah ok Maybe next year...

Mesh shaders are also DX12 and not just Vulkan. Vulkan utilised the same info from Nvidia originally.Mesh Shaders are a Vulkan thing For Nvidia all RTX cards are compatible, RTX 2000 and later, for AMD its RDNA 2 and later, RX 6000 and 7000 series. I say that because CIG will be using Vulkan.
The foliage isn't bad, its of a higher quality than it is in New World and that's still a very pretty game, i suppose you have to be satisfied with it at some point or you may never get it done, at some point you have to put a pin in it and say its done, the scale in SC is massive and that presents unique problems, its why other games at this scale use either cartoon graphics or in the case of ED and dare i say Star Field which is nothing like on this scale??? Just have nothing but baron deserts, everything is Daymar or Yella with a difference colour pallet.
CIG have done well to achieve what they have, lets put a pin in it....
On terrain texture tiling, yeah you see that i don't understand, its pretty bad in SC, even i have the skill and the know how, in Unreal Engine at least, to make high quality, high res terrains without texture tiling..... it does take a bit of know how, a bit of skill, but CIG have far more of that than i do....
I can't wait to get my new GPU so i can get back in to that hobby....
Yep and Microsoft took it from Nvidia whom showed it with their demo in 2018 only knew tbf cause some of the software I use does it for rendering for vr walkthrough systems. You're right turns out it was Microsft in 2019 with DX 12.
New World has pretty low res foliage textures, i've got more tha 100 hours in it.

But yeah they are, so is SC stuff though. Just poor us all lol. As someone whom just chilling and want to see the scenery most the time whilst doing a bit of flying ya know.
That isn't at all the same thing Nvidia literally created the first version in 2018. The caching element you've linked is not the same as dynamic LOD control.NVIDIA's OpenGL Shader Disk Cache For Linux - Phoronix

The first step to freedom is admitting the issue lolOh FFS...... I hate Nvidia, ok? there i said it, i don't like to admit when / or if they did a thing...

Yep freedom to know you'll be buying Nvidia gain when you upgrade. Especially as AMD seem to have given up again and Intel aren't ready to fight still.Freedoom? i will be free soon....

Like what? a 4060Ti 16GB? i'm not wealthy enough to get something worth while from Nvidia, or i might, yet again.
You could have got 4090 SLI (if it still existed) if you didn't keep buying virtual spaceships
