Item type: Light, Core Compat All.

Weapon isn't equipped, weird. Purchased multiple ones to try.

Also seeing 'loading' on inventory, maybe something weird going on. Ok deffo something going on, I just saw all my armour vanish when I was in the inventory screen not touching anything.

edit: lol now my inventory window has gone completely :D




Oh it's back now, armour, and backpack deets underneath.

Yeah that is the white thing on the second pic, the grey/sand coloured thing is the undersuit. First pic I had it on but it was bugging out at the time.

Might be worth a relog if inventory seems to be messing up.

Can you right click on the backpack and select equip? or drag i over the torso it should show up for you to drop it on?

Inventory can bug, but I can't think of why that isn't working.
 
Right equip just does nothing. Dragging shows no 'mounting' point on the armour. Could try a different armour I guess.
Oh just got disconnected, makes me wonder if something weird going on in that place.

We've had a lot of problems with inventory this week, been driving me mad. Always seems to be one of us bugged.

It was a problem with that particular armour, saw a reddit post with same issue albeit no replies from a year ago.

How come the brightness is so different between cameras?




Todays noob death: Went to do a security/merc mission, got to the site and I see some turrets with a red icon, I thought they must be bugged as weren't firing so I opened fire on one and then they all turned and destroyed me. Turns out I didn't read the contract because it said about protecting the site, so guess they were the friendly ones lol. In my brain red = dead.

I'm assuming the server 30k'd, aka died, which is why you were disconnected. Inventory tends to be one of the first things that break shortly before the server does.

If you open the console and enter r_display 2 (1 gives less info) and check for BwIN. If that's dropped to 0 the server has died, died. :)

Not sure about the brightness, hard to tell from screenshots with the giant glowing hud in your face. I've not noticed it as such but lighting is a bit different in 3rd person due to the view position.

A good indicator on the screenshot is the building on the right with the red lights (I was in the same place). Don't see why it would be an OLED thing but yeah the ship HUD is waaaaaay too bright, surprised there isn't a way to turn it down, like what I do in my car at night. The external screenshot is way darker than it was in game oddly.

I should have said, the whole UI is desperately needing replaced and they've shown off good chunks of it. As with many things we're waiting for them to release it. They've said chunks of it will be done within the next year and that they don't have to wait and do all of it at once.

Not that im aware of, never even heard of tht tbh lol. I think there was an app that did that but no windows shortcut to deactivate them wtihout going into bios.
 
After the patch i still have all of my armour, weapons, in game bought ships, reputation, ship components, and money.... 0.0

Literally the only things i lost are ammo and my Lux Fizzy Bubbly drinks....

Even things that i picked up off the floor are still in my inventory.
