Managed a while longer last night, finished the tutorial which I wasn't too far from doing the first time around, until that space station jumped out of nowhere and hit me!
Started a Xenomorph mission as my first, took 5-10 minutes of travelling to get there and when I came out of fast travel I got blasted to bits....bed time again.

Ha na I think games like cod and fifa have larger amount of players buying stuff like booster kits, skins and coins/packsI suspect it's got the largest "whale" community of any game, ever.
At one point I was worried I was turning into one but I'm a shrimp these days it seems
Some missions are brutal. Last night I got blasted to bits in a distribution center once I took off from my ship...
Twice it happened lol
I think for me it was the thought of having to go through it all again, find my ship, take off and do the travel thingy all over again kind of put me off, it was kind of late so I packed it in and went to bed. Why is there a bed in my ship, can I have a kip when I travel?
Oh how do I level my ship off...I spend a lot of time upside down and flying at an angle, I cant seem to get it back to level again, it makes landing tricky lol.

Bed is used for logging out and back into your ship
A good idea is to set your respawn point to a space station to save going through the city again. This is generally first thing people do in the game currently. It saves the city travel part till cities actually become proper mission hubs in 200 years or whatever it will take CIG to do anything with them.

Edit @Uncle Petey was the first bloke who gave me such tutorial. He even taught me how to fly and stay in focus during a high intense scenario that can happen in the verse

If a space whale ****s in space do you hear it?
I can't its a void...but knowing CIG they will have it play through your character helmet/ship like other magic space sounds.

Got to the end of the download 99%, then said " Download failed ".. Remove files?
Only gives you an option of Yes or press X. Press X it restarts the download anyway for 13gb+!
THAT'S NOT how you do a download, ever heard of a verify files?
