I just drilled a 25mm hole and lined it with some 25mm plastic pipe, perfect internal size for the cable plug. The wire plug size looks like a pain though, particularly if having to drill sizable holes to accomadate.

What else do you have plugged into it?Anyone here run a UDM-SE with a HDD in it, and measure power consumption? Mine seems to use 40W if Tapo plugs are to be believed, which seems quite high.
Just the SE, I had a few things plugged in before and worked out it would be around 40W, but decided today I wanted to know for sure. What else do you have plugged into it?
No PoE, 4 copper clients, both SFP+ ports in use, as mentioned there is a HDD installed and in use for Protect. I turned off Protect but it made no difference.Any PoE in use? Are you using copper ports only or also using SFP/SFP+ modules? Have you got a hard drive in there?
My server rack is measuring 830kWh if that helps you feel any better?!I think that was an earlier version bug, I don't think it makes any difference now. I just didn't expect 40W if I'm honest.
Purple drives are designed for video recording and being constantly written to. You might want to check out the manufacturer website as they do have very good deals from time to time.I've not done anything with my NVR yet, still new in box atm. I have 3 spare WD Plus 3TB drives that I was going to initially use. However with prime day etc. any particular drives people recommend? I was originally looking at some WD Purple, but they're only 5400 and Unifi recommend 7200.
I have some spare Dell 12TB hitachi drives, but they're from a poweredge.

Opps typo! Missed off the h!830kw, are you sure?
