Well was gutted last night, guild got HC spoils down 25 man but i wasnt invited to come

Felt a bit hard done by as well :D

Teach me for being to nice and helping the raid team by going DPS then Healing as we have 9 regular healers........

Happy that guild has it down though, think they tried few tries on Thok last night but needed to get rotation on CD right so :)
 
After years of trying, I finally fished him up just for him to give me the stupid, useless buff on each of my three wishes. The big ****hole.

9 Healers is a lot, however most 25 man guilds 7-8 heal Thok :P

Its a huge CD list :)
 
No the 9 regular healers are just 9 regular raiders who always turn up :)

So i said id go DPS and shot myself in the foot because i was there for the 30-40 tries over the last couple of weeks and get dropped the night we kill it...........................
 
My guild tried our first Heroic ALT run tonight and my co-tank couldn't make it. Man do i hate PUG tanks, Sha of Pride Heroic first tank swap i'm @ 40 pride already because the other tank didnt bother to taunt. So frustrating.

Aye. Thok is a guild-killer. Guilds on my server have disbanded over how tough he is on progress.

One thing you can do is make a weak aura of the CDs and stacks and share it with the raid so you can ALL see them ALL the time.

What we had was a CD Hitler :P a shot caller who doesn't miss a beat. Hermes is an incredible addon (although if a cd is used more than 40 yards from you it won't notice).

We had a strong P1 setup so what we did was press to 25 stacks using most cooldowns. Then after the first P2 goto the water door. It's a low damage door with no adds ('cept the yeti) and use minimal alternate cooldowns for that one.

By the time your done the second P2 your big CDs will be back. Repeat what you did only on the poison door. Bloodlust on bats.

Ideally you want him dead on this P2. If he is less than 12% don't open the door and kit your ass off as he heals ~150million per door. Just sacrifice melee to his fixate :)

Opening the fire door is practically an enrage mechanic. It's chaos, it's a nightmare. So attack quicker and ignore that door :)
 
I am just playing casually solo these days with Oqueue flex, desperately trying to get on a normal Garrosh kill for that wolf.

Apparently the English Language GCSE paper was on World of Warcraft this year or something, bit ironic for me given I spent a bit too much time playing this game when I was doing my GCSEs in 2007.

Hey guys

So I checked my char after frw nonths and apparently you can upgrade gear another 2 times now, is that right or some glitch on ranking sites?
Tried wowprogress and wow-heroes and both show 4 as max number of upgrades.
I was thinking about coming back and finding a morning raiding guild but not sure yet.
Before I unsubbed I was at 7 hc kills in 10 man.
Any bigger changes since January?
Especially for ele shamans?

Yeah all SoO gear and timeless got another 2 upgrade slots to them, probably to keep people playing as its now a full weeks worth of valor per new item for 4/4 upgrade instead of two items per week.

Has any1 been keeping up the the Alpha WOD... i have to say i was excited at the start of the year but atm i seem underwhelmed with it all. I think i am finally over Wow, i think they have left it too late for the update on graphics and what not.
 
Just watched my old WotLK HCLK 25man kill video. I miss this game!

Was looking forward to WoD but they removed the server first 90 achievements which was my favourite part of any new expansion.
 
Getting max level firdt in any game isn't a big avhievement these days nymore.
It most often goes to some alpha or beta tester who found a glitch and kept it to himself instead of reporting it. Or shared his account.
Best shown by a quote, from start of Rift on server I played on. We seen this server wide announcement about server first 50 and seconds later somone said in trade:
'Congratulations to you... And your 3 chinese employee's'
I laughed so hard. This was after around 36 hours after servers went live. I was in beta too and at that time was a 44/50 level, together with 2 friends I leveled with. We were on top of server together with some other mid 40s and that one level 50. Most of us slept only few hours in that time and it was a must, honestly who can stay awake for 36 hours straight and get ahead of rest of the server by few levels. So I am glad there wont be level achievements in WoD.
