Great game Lyon, shame you weren't given time to finish that DD off, I know we aren't quite on the OBT but they have let some in for the capacity test, WOT's lemming train mentality is in now in full swing and the raging in chat too .

I hadn't realised it was locked to 64-bit, I guess that might hurt them a bit, but as for requirements my missus was playing it on a 4gb ram, non gaming integrated graphics laptop yesterday with 40fps.

Since the RAM requirements are identical for minimum and recommended specifications along with the fact that no 32 bit OS can address that amount of RAM then it is possible unless there are a few errors in the minimum requirements since the launcher is 32-bit and I'm not sure but you can a launcher and the actual game be different in what bit versions they use.

I did decide to try to install it on my laptop (which only has 2GB RAM with 256MB of that assigned to the graphics) and I only got 5fps in game which doesn't make it completely unplayable (WoT runs at around 20-30fps in game depending on map and location on a specific map) since I did manage to get me some bot kills in co-op battle mode even though I sucked trying to deal with the pathetic frame rate I was getting in the first match, I did manage to get a few kills in the third match I played before I decided to shut down.

It looks like I'll have to put more then what I was planning to do with regards to RAM as long as I can get around the screw barn door that's stopping me from gaining access to where the RAM is located.

Depends on class you are playing. Buuuuuuut here are some general ones.

Don't sail in straight lines as a BB for too long. Destroyer/Carrier Torpedo's will wreck you.

Switch between HE/AP depending on class and target angle (this takes practice and experience of the game to get mastered)

Try not to sail off on your own.

Stay aware of your surroundings (Don't crash into islands ;) )

Stay aware of the objectives (tickets remaining/flag caps)

Smash the living daylights out of anything that sails that isn't on your team.

You have to have some patience :). I find it a rewarding and very frustrating game!

Although as most of the Closed Beta testers have been wiped and been playing since Friday you should still run into mostly new people for the first few tiers.

Just downloading the open beta now to give it a try. Whats strange is my profile says I have already played 2 battles, Japan V USA and shot down two planes !

additional, wow what a damn fine game.

^^ Glad you like it.

It still has me hooked after around 400+ battles. Not played another game since I got into the Closed Beta!

Cool. I have just discovered "RAMMING SPEED!"

On my last legs so "FULL SPEED AHEAD" and took out 2 ships who just did a near miss with each other- that really needed videoing. Shame.

I can only imagine the look of panic/horror on the Captains faces.

:)

Stuck this on yesterday at around 3pm didn't come off it till midnight :o got upto rank 5 and down to T3 Americans. Really going to try for a aircraft carrier as that looks quite good fun.

Feel free to add me if you want some games when I'm on. Username = Glanza

Downloaded yesterday, managed a few sinking's with my puny little gun boat and suddenly its 23:30... Very addictive, I like that you need to think ahead of time about speed and turns...

Need to master switching between HE and AP, but did enough damage with HE to not worry too much about it yet..:)

I am Jester86 in game, so drop me a request and i'll division up when around :)

Glad some people are trying it and enjoying!
