Soexcept nobody said that , did they spoffle. Dont start it again.
get used to it, its how samsung make them so bright without reducing their lifespan to weeks.

i've just read about the OLED VS THE PANNY Plasma and the OLED wins relatively easily, so this tells me the OLEDs i saw were poorly set up ... which is pretty normal for Currys.
i have to make my mind up quick because there's quite a few for sale on Ebay

The rate changes with brightness. Not sure what the lower limit is but max is 240hz at max brightness. Without PWM lifespan would be reduced. switching on and off 240 times a second allows the oleds to run brighter for longer withotu sacrificing power consumption or lifespan.
But no, i didnt really mean weeks. Tongue firmly in cheek. Sorry, you dont like that I know.
Honestly, I dont have one. The guy just cant be reasoned with. Am trying though! This thread is being ruined by the bickering guys, can't you all just drop "attitude" and carry on the thread with a
Glad you know how PWM works, but it's worth noting for everybody else that the note4 isnt the only oled display to use PWM and that they all implement it differently.
Note is hard on PWM even at max brightness, as it seemlying still cycles the power to below 50% and back up. see here post 15

Would be interesting to know what sort of brightness level you think it's at its worst.
This might help I have just had my set calibrated, people slate the picture quality of Amazon primeGlad you know how PWM works, but it's worth noting for everybody else that the note4 isnt the only oled display to use PWM and that they all implement it differently.

You really shouldn't use a streaming service as reference for quality.

i've read quite a lot about this tv and i think it's a really brilliant buy, its blacks are tremendous............ i think i'll buy it and i've found a brand new one going cheap, with the original box and unopened.........what a bunch of crooks most of these guys are on Ebay, but this bloke seems ok.
what about 4k?........... it aint a big deal if 1080p looks this good and it deffo isn't a problem with my ST Panny either ( the LG OLED is superior to my tv by quite a long way)
There's a fair few Damaged LG Oled's on ebay. Are they more delicate than normal
