Sorry to hear you have to pay VAT mate.

I asked him to mark it down as a gift for 20$ and it arrived safe and sound - No tax to pay.

woohoo!!

Agent.

Well all in it's cost me £240 which ain't bad.
Like I said if she clocks to 3.1Ghz then I could not give a stuff about the extra £40! :D

done same thing, gift and de-value it.

scoobie, you done the right thing m8,1st time its hard to take that chance.

you'll have you chip weekend now thou ;)

Recieved mine today, deffo off the same bloke as you scoobie. I asked him to mark as $75 and gift which I normally do and works fine. This guy though has sent it as other instead of gift. Cost me £22

Not sure whether to say owt to him.

Nothing you can do about it. I used the same guy, we agreed that he'd send it as a devalued gift and he did ($10). Unlucky Devious, the risk of buying abroad. Nevermind, whack the chip in and get to work!

Ordered mine from the US this morning, USPS. Not sure how long it'll take though, what do you guys reckon? A week?
Well, the guy I bought mine from said he'd just posted US Airmail Express and that I should get it Saturday morning!

Ha! Guys we are sitting on little fortunes here with the CCBBE 0610DPMW chips.

Any one tempted to sell it for a large margin..? - I'm hanging onto mine but so tempted to shift it.

Agent.

Picked my 165 up today and she is running @3006Mhz so far! :D

Does anyone know what Drive Strength and Data Drive Strength settings I should be using for a DFI Expert using GSkill ZX at stock speed?

I may buy myself the Corsair nautilus 500 WC kit as it looks nice and easy to fit and is great at reducing temps by the looks of things.

any news guys?

i've got my water cooling gubbins arriving soon (hopefully all on tuesday) and I can get this badboy clocking nicely...

Agent.

So far so good, I let it prime for just over 6 hours then got bored of that! Not long enough for a screen shot though. I have had to fiddle with some new bios's as the CCBWE's are really, really sensitive to ram settings I have found, it's taken me a little while to figure out. But im there now so hopefully tonight when I let it run over night/at work should be a good oportunity for long prime session.

Another thing I have noticed is the amount of volts you can put through this stepping without it getting hot. 1.52v and when dual priming only gets to 41c - simply amazing! :D

Hi.

First time I've been able to get on with pushing this chip. As far as just pushing the CPU and taking multipliers and memory out of the equation- it failed to boot at 300HTT. I'm at 290*[email protected] (ASROCK board limit) now,and trying to get the memory up to a decent speed. The dividers are a bit flakey on this board and I have two slightly differing speeds of mem in my system.

Pi (1M) is 38.406 at the mo. that was actually at 185*9 (HTT*3) (2.5/4/4/8)

Want to get FX60 stable at the least!

to bad your mobo holding you back, what about a dfi mobo? would scale a lot higher.

I am quite chuffed as I have managed to get 2.6Ghz out of my 165 now running at 1.45v.
290HTT
333DDR
2.6v DDR
Hypertransport x3
PCI lock 33.33
Ram timings
2.5-3-3-8-11-16 1T

She has passed 32MB PI and 2 hours on Prime, I would do longer but I need to use all this power.
