PC-7 'real-life' shot please

Unfourtunatly I have all 4 of my 5.25" bays full, so can't get something like that unit, but I do like it.

Very nice setup, I am tempted by the windowed pannel, with the mesh over GPU.

I think it's pretty neat... compared to my old PC anyway.

Did a bit of a cable cleanup last night, only 10 mins worth though.

I'll work on it when I can be bothered :p

It also looks a little messier because you can see under the PSU cover thingy. I just need to hide that SATA cable running up the middle & tuck away those 2 gray 1394 and USB wires at the bottom.

Everyone else has artistic 'hide your wires' photos with some cables cheatingly unplugged :p

Very true, will post a pic of a true side on view, looks much worse than an angled shot. :(

yeah as said above thats my watercooling :)

Gone for a bit of a change recently, got a lian-li ex-33 so moved hdd's into that and put my pump at the bottom so can use the top inlet. Gone for a bit of blue aswell. Looks much better now imo.

my camera is crap :(

Thinking of adding a second loop for gpu at some point in the near future

What watercooling stuff have you used ? Looks so much better in a lian li then any other case i have seen :D

parts or liquid?

The coolant is just blue feser 1

the parts are AquaXtreme MP-05 cpu block, Danger Den Maze 4 gpu block, Laing DDC Ultra with Alphacool plexi top, Thermochill PA120.2 radiator and Danger Den Dual 3.5" bay reservoir

Not really sure... sounds a bit too complicated for me anyway. Would that swiftech ultra kit on here work ?

yeah i dont see why not, meanto to be a good kit from what ive heard. Though you can get better if you are willing to go with a custom setup

Have a look at the pc7 i posted a few pages back, basically the same parts :)

Looks good :)

Does the tubing come with it, in the colours ?

And are these things hard to fit ? Look quite complicated.

I hope OCUK get the black pc7 back soon aswell, i hate the hassle of ordering from more then one place. :(

also what is the mesh taking up 3 of your 5.25" bays? is it the one that holds like 3 hdds? what's the model number or whatever?

Hi all,

I plan on this build:

ASUS P5KC
Lian-Li PC7 Plus (black, not that it matters ;))
Thermalright Ultra-120 and a Scythe 120mm S-FLEX

Will I have problems with fitting?

Very tempted to change to this from a Akasa Eclipse 62 as I fancy a change plus the side cooler for the gfx with a window is ace :)
How hard is it to fit the big cpu coolers due to the motherboard tray not being removable e.g the Noctua etc which use backplates and need to be screwed in?
Thats the only thing stopping me from getting one at the moment. Cheers
Install the heatsink with the motherboard out I've always done this anyway
but this would be a downgrade from your current case
what matters is internal and performance don't get suckered in by the shiny exterior appearance.
My main issue with this case was always the lack of width hard drive bay blocking the front intake at least with the eclipse you can have them up high or low leaving some airflow.Looks wise this is the best case i agree but seriously how often do you look at your case more than your monitor.
