Can only see it when looking at the TV from above or either side. Front on you wouldn't even know.

The only thing that annoys me about this TV is the two side HDMI ports are unusable for HDR content even though they technically should all work the same.

Not sure why this is the case or if it's just mine like this.

They all support 4k/HDR, something must be wrong.

It's a problem I can live with atm but obviously long term could be a real problem.

Check if HDMI ULTRA deep colour is turned on for the hdmi inputs that are not working with HDR.

Its under general options.

Well I know it's clearly a problem, I just don't know if I'm the only one effected by it.

I might try LG support and see what they say, having two dodgy HDMI ports will definitely effect resale value in the future.

Yes, I'm aware of this setting, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to confirm that the rear ports are working.

I suppose it could be something specific to my Shield TV/Bluray but I doubt it.

I use the side ports on mine as they are HDMI 1 and 2 and I need ARC to get DD 5.1 for Amazon and Netflix.

Are you using any pass through? HDR is at the limit of what HDMI 2.0 can handle.

Have LG updated their 2016 sets to handle HLG yet? I'm looking at getting a 65" B6 if I can find a nice s/h one at a good price. It'd just be nice to know it's somewhat future-proofed

The C6 got HLG is the latest update as it now works with the iplayer beta HLG trial. The B6 may have it now or its coming.
