Pillows.....

I bough the Simba pillow.

Tried it at first with all the forms cubes. Couldn't last more than a few hours.

Took a few handfuls out and still wasn't too impressed. So I ended up taking about 1/3rd of them out now and it seems better.

(Side sleeper)

I’ve tried lots of different pillows over the years and for me, the best has been the Dunlopillow Latex - purchased about 5 years ago and still going strong. The Tempur cloud pillow is just too firm although I do like the Tempur Luxe Cloud mattress which we find very comfy.

The best pillow I ever had was one I took from home when I left home in 1981, and it was an old pillow already. I had it, for... er... well, it was thrown out about 10 years ago when I could no longer ignore the fact it was probably 50% dust mite poo, 49% my skin & grease, and 1% contagious disease.

It was some kind of feather pillow and probably responsible for some of my asthma as a kid, but you could punch the pillow and it would leave a perfect indentation of your fist. It was SO comfortable; cool in summer, warm in winter, and perfectly supportive. I've regretted throwing it out every day since, because I've tried lots since without ever finding something I'm really happy with. In an ideal world, with an infinite budget and no sense of environmental responsibility, I'd buy one of everything on the market and spend a night on each!

Bottom line... a good night's sleep trumps modern hygiene paranoia.

I just have the dormeo pillows that came with my mattress and topper, I thought they were expensive at normally costing £50 and £90 each.

I got a full body / pregnancy pillow to try for my spine hip and knee pains while trying to sleep, didn't find it comfortable and its been left on the floor since.

And today my backpain has fully returned due to needing to lounge and not move much during the heatwave :(

The £90 dormeo pillow is latex layers over memory foam springs and is very thick and firm. It doesnt feel so nice to put your head on but is very supportive.

The £50 has a normal microfiber fluffy side, and memory foam cylinder on the other side - both sides are very comfortable and soft but dont support my neck as well (craniocervical instability too).

Basically all my joints are RIP and almost a grand spent on memory foam spring bedding hasn't helped. Sleep is torture.

Absolutely no idea but how do people stop their bottom sheet coming off , keep waking on a bare matress, too much tossing ( and turning) maybe

What type of pillow do you use?

Over the last 12 months I must have brought about 8 different pillows. Memory foam, feather duck and still I cannot get comfortable at night. Any recommendations?

One with half of the feathers missing

But atleast its not a huge podgy one, i hate those,

I got fed up of either pillows being to damn big, or too damn thin, so i bought a stuffed one, took a knife too it and ripped out half the feathers :D

I use a neck pillow, the ones with the groove in the middle, It helped a lot with my upper middle back and neck pain. I just need a new mattress now, because that is absolutely destroying my back!
