Playstation 4 being announced February 20th?

I think the best thing I heard all night was the instant standby/resume feature. It'll be nice to be able to switch the console back on and within seconds (instead of minutes) be carrying on from where you left off.

OK I dont like the new controller:

a) Triggers are smaller and the convex nature of them isnt enough that when they are depressed your fingers will stay on them - I think they are worse than the DS3s...

b) OMFG three tone grey (plastic) controller - yuck!

c) That headphone jack reminds me of the old jacks Sony minidiscs and portable cds had for remotes than had inline remotes, they were horribly flaky regards damage near the connector...

ps3ud0

If anyone finds a clip showing the new XMB in action, please post. :D I can't be arsed going through the whole presentation again.

Im really like the new pad, grips/handle look to be slightly longer, the rear appears to have a different texture to the front (probably more grippy) the D pad looks much better, analog stick look improved (less concave)

Triggers do look a little small, will have use before i make a conclusion on them

Most excited about the tocuh pad and its use in hopefully a much improved internet browser

and a headphone jack, which will be handy

Wonder how Playstation Plus will work for PS4, cant really see them giving away a full game a month on release.

Controller looks ugly, but its essentially the same layout as before with a bit more distance between the thumb sticks which suits me fine.

Thank god the next gen is coming, if for nothing other than getting half decent graphics on console ports like Skyrim. Maybe PC games will now finally exceed 2007's Crysis now that consoles soon won't holding back graphics development as much.

Woot 6x BD and at last wireless-n.

Wonder what the AUX port does if its a I/O port and not a AV one...

Hmmm 8GB RAM makes me wonder how long this thing will last if you consider the possibilities of Gaikai with decent internet connections in say 5+ years

ps3ud0

Yeah the instant standby/resume sounds great, I can see myself never shutting my console down though which might be bad. :p
