I still can't believe it was only 512mb,I only found that out the other day,shocking stuff altogether.

Game are already taking preorders. i ended up buying a ps3 again just to excite me even more. Just completed killzone 3, quite a good game i thought! never even completed the 2nd one when i had my old ps3, might have to get that now.

No because Sony took the 3rd option and charged us through the nose for everything
If MS decide to charge us through the nose for the next box you could say well they included everything, but as others have suggested MS will most likely come with an aggressive price point, so will have skimped out elsewhere.
Its not been established if the eye toy is going o be bundled or not, unlike microsofts stuff will be as rumoured.
And in a sense you could say sony did neglect gamers with the PS3 to a degree, as in did we really need a bluray player back then? probably not and the much expense could have been put towards more ram and a beefier gpu.

Out of interest how does KZ3 compare to KZ2?
I did not like 2 at all, controls scheme had a huge lag to it, and on top of that was painfully slow/weighted feel to it.
I sold my slim earlier this month but fancy playing the last of us and the new GoW, so might pick up a super slim.
On that note might pick up another xbox, for gears judgement which should be epic.

I liked Killzone 3, the stealth missions were great fun and it's a good co-op game. It's certainly better than Resistance which I've always found utterly generic and bland. It's only half fun in co-op.

Yea i never liked resistence either, might pick up KZ3 for a quick blast. Plus want to test out the 3D on my newish Tv.

Ah yes, forgot about that, KZ2 did have massive lag on the controls. I just assumed they had an update out to fix that. KZ3 is much much better.
i sold my old ps3 a couple years ago and got the Gears xbox, just finished that game last week actually. So yeah, roll on Judgement!
i also got God of war 1, 2 and 3. Oh and uncharted 3. tried to get 2 as well but they couldn't find the disk.
Actually was meant to get a new tv today, but thought nahhhh i'll get that next week haha. Even more excited now, forgot ps3 can do 3d gaming!

Killzone 3 is a lot better in regards to controller lag, unfortunatly although I enjoyed playing it, it did go over the top on set pieces and the story was pretty poor. If it wasn't for the dodgy framerate in mp war zone would have been great.
Hopefully the latest killzone will rectify this?
Can't wait for the last of us and gow, but after playing gears 2 recently I definitely won't be touching judgement.
Resistance 3 is decent in 3d and IMO is easily the best resistance.

I'm itching to preorder too but my brain is saying wait till after E3. Thing is i know this system is going to sell out fast espcially prior to chirstmas at the rumoured lower price point, so dont want to be left out.
What games did you pre order?Is watch dogs gonna be a launch title?

Yep Gears 1 was the best, was addicted to that online when it first came out. 2 was now where near as good online and didnt bother with 3.

Yeah i finished 3, wasn't that bad, but i wanted to finish the story. i'll get judgement, complete it, then prolly sell the console and games. Keep the ps3 and then trade in for the new one later in the year.

RAM is dirt cheap and has been for several years now, I think I got 8GB (4x2GB) for £40 and that was a couple of years back and it was really good ram too OCZ Special Ops
Before that I paid £400 for 4GB (4x1GB) but that would be going back a to a long time ago when RAM was expensive.
Anyone building a half decent PC these days imo should be looking at 8GB minimum just to future proof themselves, in fact I seen talk of people buying 16GB just because it was so cheap and they didn't think it was possible it could go any cheaper. Looking at prices now DDR3 @ decent speeds is £40 for 8GB and £70 for 16GB.
Not making any comparisons to the PS4 just saying that any custom made pc from now on is most likely going to have 8GB of RAM in it minimum, just because it is so cheap.

tbh i found GTA 4 disappointing, it kept my attention for about a month, whereas GTA 3 i was hooked from start to finish and even long after that.
saint's row is much more fun imo.
sleeping dog's is even better than GTA 4 and even that has a hugely annoying repetitiveness to it.
i really hope it is going to be life changing, but I don't know after their last release.
