why bring out PS4 then, just stream all the games

Would be counter productive I think, if they did that and you could play PS4 games on a PS3 people would think what's the point in buying a PS4 when they could do it on the PS3.
Its certainly interesting.
There is definitely a conspicuous absence of any AAA games towards the later end of this year. Its like the last big game of this year will be GTA5 and after that ... nothing.
Its no co-incidence that this is at a time when MS and Sony have a complete black out on all material related to their next console. As soon as joe public gets wind that theres a new console due out in a few months with some truely amazing next gen games on it, the sales of current games on the current platforms will take a nose dive.
So they keep everybody in the dark while all the big publishers are developing games like this ...

Hmm, seems its getting forgotten about now that the Wii didnt hold up against the 360\PS3 either, hardware wise. The selling point was the controller and the family angle, it wasnt even a HD console in most respects. Yet it was classed as the same gen as 360 and PS3.
Now theres another generation of consoles hitting, and Nintendo has released theirs. Another console that shows off a new controller and internal hardware that is behind the rest of that generation. It's no different from the Wii, which as I said, is classed as the same gen as the 360 and ps3.
