LOL Mr Men/Worthy, you obviously dont know anything about console generations at all:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_video_game_consoles_(eighth_generation)

Strangely I read that and thought 'man if DOF was a person and made a statement that was it'. Am I surprised you made it - not in the slightestramblings...
Anyway, enough of my rambling.![]()
At least we've moved on from 'my controller is better than yours'!
At least we've moved on from 'my controller is better than yours'!
i hope its as good as this
LOL you like attempting to put words in peoples mouths, shame its so poorly veiled. Of course the Wii U is next gen, just because the specs arent of what we are expecting of Sonys and MSs efforts, Nintendo are targetting it squarely at the PS4 and next Xbox, what actually makes you think otherwise?
And if you think otherwise, then why question my thoughts on spec being vaguely important if youve already seemingly dismissed the Wii U for the same reasoning
Even before the specs were touted its obvious where Sony and MS believe gaming is going, or my own interpretation of it, anything Sony do to attempt to make multiplatform gaming a level playing field is a great bonus, but to not think that their entrenched shared values like developing first party games (ala Nintendo) wouldnt already make me slightly more interested in what they are releasing brands you somewhat naive.
Ultimately if the PS4 launches first, I wont be buying it until way after the next Xbox is out and make my informed choice then, I have zero impulse in being a launch owner, and considering Ive never done that in the past, its not too difficult for me to wait and enjoy what post-launch titles do to that potential decision.
Gaikai seemed to be less connection dependent than Onlive, though both needed a lot of work and investment on. Gaikai definitely seemed the most efficient so its definitely interesting what Sony will do with it, especially with Sonys interest in MMORPGs.

"Next gen" makes no sense since in theory the X-box 360 is still "next gen" as the NEXT one isn't out yet, it came out in 2005. How long can you call the X-box Next Gen before it becomes "last gen"? If the new one comes out and it is call Next Gen and the X-box 360 becomes last gen then what on earth is the current generation? The only variable is the time between the one you have now and the next one is out. Whether it is 7 years or 7 days, that shouldn't change the status of the console, it is the current one.
I hope Jack Tretton does the presentation, he's like a fun uncle.![]()
This was from the E3 build last year (I think) and was confirmed to be running on a high end PC (although this game is highly likely to be nextbox, ps4 pc game anyway!)This is possibly running on one of the new consoles !!! taken from another forum so credibility is pretty much 0% BUT it does look amazing.
Any leaks, apart from the controller pictures? Normally this close to a new product being announced/demoed we would have more leaks!

why bring out PS4 then, just stream all the games![]()
