car crash interview here regarding police cuts. oh dear nearly as bad as "did you threaten to overrule him" infamous paxman interview :p

RE Andy Burnham.

Andy Burnham was against Labour's opposition to additional cuts in policing and said he would be willing to slash 5% to 10% of budgets. This was at a time however when the Conservatives were considering additional funding cuts, which were opposed by Labour.

May is basically suggesting the entire Labour party were suggesting additional cuts of 10% on the back of Burnhams opinion.

Even through i'm not voting for them this time round. I thought UKIP did rather well in the face of the hostile BBC audience last night. Paul Nuttle's best performance so far

Which is largely the problem on both sides. It's basically the worst election ever. "Who do you think is a bigger danger to our country? Vote accordingly."
I don't think Theresa May is a bad option - certainly a better option than the Cameron/Osborne style of leadership we've suffered under for six years. That is; do everything by the seat of your pants, if you get caught then rely on your friends in high places to get you out of difficulty.

People shouldn't be prosecuted for their political beliefs? Well seeing as that is the basis of our democracy for hundreds of years I think that is a perfectly reasonable position.

There is a difference between political beliefs, and conspiring to and executing terrorist attacks. Dirty little rags like Guido Fawkes (when did he go full Breitbart?) will try and twist his words...but as I keep saying, British people are less easily duped by this sort of gutter propaganda. Keeping it up just continues to highlight the Tories complete lack of substance.

You've dodged the question there...

No I think a lot of UKIP and Tory voters just think that Theresa May is our only credible option in this election, and that the election of Jeremy Corbyn as PM will be such a disaster for this country its people that it's too depressing to contemplate.

That's fine and you are completely fine to that opinion. I wont put someone down for having a difference in opinion to me.

What my gripe is ... Is people twisting stories and making stuff false and sharing it to the point of believing their OWN lie themselves

Example above. Tories cut police. N11ck saying labour wanted to cut it more. When the real story was one labour MP saying he wanting to limit the cut.

Yes I understand someone can get confused with all the false news but this is a tech forum and I would think it wouldn't be too hard for people on here to search for what the Labour MP ACTUALLY said. So at this point I have to believe his mind is in a CULT like state where he is beginning to believe his own lies.

This is laughable. Really, really laughable.

How do they expect people to vote for them, when they will only produce soundbites, and ignore all questioning?

I love how at the end of this disastrous interview, she resorts to pushing May as the "stong and stable" candidate.

Like someone else said earlier, the MPs being interviewed wouldn't even pass a Turing test... they don't converse with the interviewer, they just say their pre-planned spiel and refuse to answer any direct questioning.

Incredible.

It wasn't me who said it lol, I was observing on your normal posting style (or lack of to be more accurate)
You going senile? or just trolling as normal.

I'm still waiting for your evidence. Come on and show me where he say the IRA are bad. You won't.
And the first sign of losing is calling people names.

Were the British military good?

Having ideas that anyone is good is dumb, which is likely why he isnt talking about it.

You've dodged the question there...

What makes me think Corbyn would do a better job? He's the first senior politician to talk frankly about addressing some root causes of radicalism, i.e. our foreign policy in the Middle East.

We've pretended it's not a problem for decades...and here we are. What exactly is Theresa May proposing to do differently to make us safe?

And to cut off the usual claptrap: No, it is not *all* the fault of our foreign policy. No, it is not condoning terrorism.
