Yeah I’ve had pascal for a good while now and it’s always good to have some shiny shiny .

I’m hoping for a good chunk of performance being Ti to Ti.

20% I think you’re expecting too low. The 1080Ti is 471mm2 whereas the 2080Ti is 775mm2

Put that with new Gddr6 and architecture I think it will be quite a bit faster. Just on die size alone it’s a pretty massive increase.

Yea, I don't mind admitting that it does have me worried for my native 3440x1440 res. Oh well, YOLO and all that and I can't do that stupid Deli Ali thing, so at least I feel good buying this

Not at all this card isn't really going to be worth upgrading to when the 1080ti is a kick ass card....... Most people play at 1080p & 1440P res so no need to upgrade just yet!

I have the new Samsung smartwatch ordered. September 9th it should be here. Looks sweet and does my Kayaking as a fitness thing, which is cool

Don't worry as you could always buy a new 1080p monitor so you can 30fps with you're new £1300 gpu

Mate, I have 4 monitors sat on top of my wardrobe. Mrs kept saying sell them but you never know when I might need them

The Xbox one x supports keyboard and mouse along with freesync.

Not sure about mouse / keyboard for games?

The Freesync / HDR is amazing though. You need a monitor / TV that supports it. Games look great at 4K (Upscaled or not) and run nice n smooth. No need to tinker with settings.

Looks like I will be only using PC for VR now. Will just get used GPU's till sanity returns to new GPU pricing.

I spent 1k on a superwide monitor and it was life changing in terms of visuals and productivity....
