What I'd like to do now is find a way of removing the time from fancy widgets & keeping the other parts of the weather there. I've tried other weather widgets before & I don't really like them compared to this one.

Reason being is when I open the Android market I can see burn in on the screen from it.

HTC desire running MIUI. The mario thing is actually a lockscreen,you move him under the blocks to unlock dialler or messaging or put him down the pipe to unlock desktop. And the score is your battery.

The agenda one is Smooth Calendar, I have it too. Not sure what you mean about the Notification widget? I don't think it's a widget looks like he's just pulled down the notifcation bar.

Thanks to mrk for the icons and a few ideas (plagerism is the greatest form of flatery!!)... I had everything already installed just needed to play with it!!..

plus he also gave me a new idea on how to present it!!

(anyone know how to 'feather' the edges to tidy it up??...)

HIGH FIVE!

Put a small digit feather, maybe 5 pixels to the square selection tool then ctrl+a then select > inverse and hit delete so it softly erases away the harsh edges. Then apply a shadow with 0 distance but increase the size a bit so it looks like it's popping out

Those phones are now gone, that's my new iPhone.

I was looking at the Galaxy Nexus, although it's far too large for my liking and the 4S was free on my upgrade.

I've a thing for phones with 3.5 and 3.7" screens.

I actually tried the SGS2 for a while and there's just something about it I don't like. The new Nexus is quite a bit larger though, and still not available in Ireland on Meteor.

Although considering the iPhone is my first Apple product, I'm rather enjoying it so far.
