Post your mobile phone desktop!

From an enterprise business perspective I'd agree with you. From a personal use perspective - I don't entirely get it...

Yup. The UI is appalling in some places - I mean, we criticise Android for a lack of polish, but BB OS looks like it's been designed in Microsoft Paint.

I use my phones mostly for Business you see, mutuple email accounts and all that jazz.

I currently have a Desire and it's a great phone, but that 9800 Torch keeps popping up in the back of my mind. Pity they didn't pack it with better hardware.

It's just a logo background I made and toolbar bitmap that was posted on Doom9 forums. My logo is now in the MPC-HC builds but the toolbar button style is:

toolbar.bmp

Keep filename the same^, place in MPC-HC's directory root
Nice! :D. Thanks very much again m8, much appreciated :).

@Nexus18cc @MiNxYyY what ROM is that???
No custom ROM on at all, just stock 2.1 android UI. Using launcher pro plus with custom icons and a custom dock.

Khaaan, I really like your layouts! I noticed in an earlier screenshot you were using weather forecast (yr.no). How on earth did you get it to show a transparent background like that? There is nothing in the options and I love how it looks on your screenshots.

Thanks mate!

G.

Snowstorm widget is really nice, gets its data from yr.no too :)

My other screens are the same as before but main screen now:

lucky you... I cant even get the SDK installer to recognise i have java installed >.<

How does this app work?? do you just install it, if so can someone mirror the app please :) .... I want to download it now.

I presume you're both talking about the Android SDK? If so, did you follow my steps earlier on this page that I outlined for MinxxYy? If you both have HTC phones then it should be easier.

The Java SE

Android SDK

The USB drivers for your phone should install themself if you're using Windows 7, else they might be on one of the folders on the root of your phone or you can also try the driver in the usb_driver folder once you install the Android SDK.

Edit: In that guide you linked, you can follow the steps later on in that guide if things aren't self explanitory :) Saves me typing pretty much the same things!

Guide here too.

I read the guide mate - installed the Java SE JDK but when it came to installing the Android SDK it fails to recognise that I have Java installed and wont go any further.
