Post your mobile phone desktop!

Thanks, what about the icon you're using for the app tray?

I'll look for that as soon as I can, its quite old but should be on my laptop

Here's my new setup that I've been fiddling with for weeks to get "right" lol and I'm finally happy with it!

SimiClock up top

MinimilisticText for the battery widgit (Khaaan, stole your idea for this one but where yours says 'discharging' when the phone isn't plugged in, mine just disappears - so it's given me a nice little popup "charging" notice :)

SwitchPRO for the toggles

Then the dock shortcuts are for Dialer One, Kaoler Clock, xScope Browser, Handcent and the Market
The dock scrolls over to a 2nd screen with shortcuts for Facebook, eBay, System Task Zone, Hotmail and Unified Remote.

Can't remember who posted the dock background (the line between switchpro and the dock) but I think it works great! Thanks, whoever you are!! :)
>edit< It was Russinating 2 pages back :) - Good one fella!

The wallpaper is the Nexus Revamped Live Wallpaper - you can customize the background, the colours of the lines, how fast they are, how many there are etc... there's even an option to link the colour/speed to your battery level. ie, they go slower and darker when the battery gets lower - real clever :)

What settings are you using in Minimalistic text for the weather? What size widget etc, could you perhaps post a screenshot?

Widget size is whatever (think I choose 6x1 Hor but I have LP Plus anyway so just stretch it). Use Custom Layout, then choose the following blocks: Weather Condition | Static Text (A space) | Temperature (C). Text size is 12 dip for both.

Right just found out something "interesting". If on LauncherPro you get rid of the icons on the dock bar like I have above you can still use swipe gestures on the empty spaces.

So on my right side I have it opening WhatsApp, and on the left I have a quick compose message gesture.

Benjo are you using Launcher Pro?

I am indeed, with two docks. The one you cant see has Browser, Phone, Facebook, SMS and Camera :)

There's a few on here http://www.appbrain.com/wallpaper

I've used www.interfacelift.com before too.

Cool thanks, neat how it syncs straight from the website to my phone (appbrain). Thing is....how do I find the wallpapers I previously used. So I just tried like 3 of them, but can't find the previous ones? Are they not actually saved to the phone?

They should be in a folder on your SD card called Appbrain Wallpapers :) Use a file explorer like Astro or Estrongs to navigate to them. Or if you've got a custom gallery like 3D Gallery it should show every image on your SD card.

Sorry for the late response guys.

While I do think some of the minimalistic text based home screens look incredible, I keep my phone as functional as possible as I use it a lot.

I dont want to be diving into the app drawer or folders for things I used regularly.

Here is my fairly standard looking setup.

I'd say most of the goodness is in my system and app settings!

Nexus One, CyanogenMOD 6.1.

what is the task apps and the one next to it please?

The task app is 'Pure Calendar Widget' linked to GTasks, heavily configured in it's settings to not show calendar stuff, just my current tasks.

Any chance of sharing the agenda widget settings? You should be able to export the settings to SD. :)

Sure, http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1066570/50_Cal2x2.xml
