Project - Blueboy - Watercooled Lian Li v2000

Supreme full nickel is a stunning block, build and finish are excellent. Have fun with your build i'll keep an eye out for your log :)

I want to make the front of the case more uniform i think i'm going to get the vented bezels that match the holes on the rest of the case.

Although i am also considderring one of these with another blue fan in.

What do you think?

Yeah the same fans as i have already used. I'd imagine that it would be as visible as the one thats already in the bottom of the front of the case

I can't think of anything else i would use the other bays for. I think i'll get the fan bay and put vented bezels on the remaining bays, thanks guys :)

There are loads, Lian Li keep the same dimensions and fittings for a lot of the areas on thier cases so all the accesories fit on many different cases. It's probably the most comprehensive amount of accesories made by any manufacturer.

The combination front fan and hdd cage is only a few quid more than the fan bay so i think thats the way to go. Going to look into removing the lian li logo from it, i think it's just stuck on anyway and should come off easily.

PaulyD did you make your psu plate yourself? I still need to make one as i also had to flip the psu on it's side to fit my rad in. I may use some of the spare meshed steel i'm going to use for my rad cutout area if its strong enough.

I was going to go with less colour but thought I'd take advantage of the perforated case front. I also find blue quite relaxing :)

I should be able to order the case bits this week, i'm waiting on some vented pci slot covers to come in stock. I think i've decided against any circular perforated mesh and going to get some hex stuff instead for the rad cutout, should be less restrictlive and comes pre coated :)

I'll get hold of some sheet alluminium or steel and make a new plate and will msh the other side of the psu plate :)

That is the other style mesh im looking at, i'm just wondering how restrictive it'll be. Is your mesh steel or aluminium?

Hot melt glue guns are great at attaching mesh, probably how i'll do mine. Got a few bits arriving today, tripple front bay fan with hard drive caddy, some nice sata cables and a couple more fans to finish the case off. the just need to decide my mesh and do the psu plate.

Bits arrived, impressed with Lian Li build and finish as ever.

Off to fit these :)

Heres the hard drive caddys, they are really simple and sit on rubber grommets to reduce noise and vibration. They also have holes pre drilled for ssd's so no need for any convertors.

Didn't take too long to get it all back together

I may alter the spacing of the bay fan yet, possibly a single bezel either side of the fan
