:/To be fair on you dude, a lot of people would have reacted the same. A lot will say, "I can't believe you stood there and didn't try and get an extinguisher" - I'd like to see them in the same situationWhat a monumental pleb.

I know, I really wish he had stuck around for longer, the guy was an absolute legend, I can't thank him enough.
I was totally useless, I just kind of watched it burn whilst phoning the fire brigade. I didn't even think to go and grab an extinguisher. Actually, come to think of it I remember blowing at the flames when I first opened the bonnet:/
What a monumental pleb.
But yeah, I'm deffo buying an extinguisher for the car now.
Look on itr-dc2 at the thread titled photoshoot, in the showground forum. You were lucky that guy grabbed the extinguisher, really lucky..

Braided water + oil feeds should sort things out though.

They are braided lines. They seemes really good quality![]()
Braided inner with a different outer coating? Or have they just gone black from the oil?
I've recently got some hoses from them, not fitted yet mind.Braided inner with a different outer coating? Or have they just gone black from the oil?
Well I sent those pics to the seller and just got a response, they said there is a possibility that I overtightened the fitting. I don't think that is the case, I was conscious of not overtightening it.
Well I hope your not going to take that for an excuse from them.
