Sorry, my comment sounded a little 360 Fanboyish.

I've always said PS3/360 would be closely matched with regards to the whole visual detail and abilities. My 'lol' was at the way the guy sounded as though he was going by his fanboyism of the PS3 by the Killzone video and MGS4 videos, and comments like below:

Nope, though he's semi right really, as they've only got one Ethernet port now, only 1 HDMI port, and the USB ports are at the front now.

Remember the old PS3 model was just a concept.
 
So GTA4 is coming to 360? If Pro Evolution 6 is also coming to the 360 that's me sold...

An extra £100 or so just isn't happening for MGS4 and GT alone.
 
Sorry if I am wrong about this, but wasnt the playstation 3 components decided on and finalised at roughly the same time as the 360 was??? if so that was ages ago and they have not made any major changes to the ps3 components during all this time. Technology has progressed quite a bit since then and I remember Sony saying the PS3 will have the power equivilent of 2x6800gt's in sli. I think a lot of people are thinking the PS3 is being released later so therefore it will have newer more advanced components, surely this cannot be the case as they have been sitting on aging tecnology.... what exactly have they been doing with it all this time :confused:

Noooo thats the main cut off power for the PSU like the back of your PC, you have an off there to cut mains.

Unless i am missing the sarcasm? lol

And Turtle, i think they where waiting on the BluRay specs to get finalised and the Cell to work well.

Dunno if they might have an improved version of the RSX now but it will be pretty much similar, but i would say the 360 specs would have been finalised at least 6 - 12 months before the PS3's.

I wouldn't have minded waiting for the PS3 but at that price there's no way in hell I could justify spending that much, especially when I don't have an HDTV so the Blu-Ray player would be pretty much useless to me :(
 
Well ive just watched the Sony press conference and must admit I was quite impressed, I was watching one game called eight days (I think) and the graphics were amazing but most of all the movement of the character as he was running around was spot on, fast and smooth, very life like, Im still too scared to spend £400 and find out the games have been ''Glossed up'' though so im gonna have to wait and see in the flesh before I commit this time. Dont know what to do, I really want a wii aswell, (haha that sound so funny lol :D) better go before I wet myself lol,,
 
I cant see sony fitting in here. The 360 is THE games machine to have atm, and the difference in prices could really mess up sony's chances. Nintendo will nail the novelty market with the wii + DS. Sony seem like the outsider at the moment with nowehere to fit in. It's gonna have to do something special to beat the 360 I think (or some stupid parents and spoilt kids)

I watched the Heavenly Sword trailer and honestly thought it was PS2, like a bad God of War (the animation isn't the same standard for a start).

I think you are mixed up with Genji 2. Heavenly Sword was only in playable form without a trailer.
