also, the controller reminds me so much of the ouya one just with a different d pad (still prefer the dualshock, but that's a personal preference)

If it uses a battery Im guessing its not a traditional one, might be something like those Li-Ions/Polymers you get in cameras

It wouldn't have been completely unfeasible in the US. With a partnership with cable providers, all it would have required would been a coax connection.

Actually, with some providers, just the ethernet port would be enough.

Uses AA's just like the original 360 Controller, reported across most news outlets. I guess there will be official rechargeable packs that charge via the micro usb on top aswell.

Yeah it's two USB's on the rear. Plus one on the side, but that's a little strange as there is quite a large recess with the USB connector sat well back.

I don't quite understand why you would want to purchase an adapter to control your existing tv box via the xboxo? The tv unit and the xboxo would be both consuming power just so you can flail your arms, or give a speech command rather than pressing 101 etc? Nah.

Seems that was already announced as AMD 8 Core Jaguar the same as PS4. The interesting bit for me is Xbox ability to offload processing to massive cloud resources. That could be significant if done right.
