Don't turn this into a platform argument, PC's have no place here.
I couldn't go back to pc gaming either tbh too much faffing about.
I love the difference between the 2 sub forums
Pc games - " omgz the graphics are amazing ill need to buy another card to get this run smooth on highest settings " and " just another console port ill pass"
Consoles - " having a good time gaming with friends tonight this new x game is really fun "

not looking for an argument pal.
he's saying he doesn't like pc gaming because people have a lot of money to spend on them. ...
"people with to much disposable income" lol
get a job, no offense.

What peeves me about PC gaming the most is people who buy 2x the highest end gfx card on the market, then moan that games aren't sufficiently exploiting their £600 investment.
And then go around telling everyone that has a single mid-high end card that they shouldn't expect new games to be playable on their "low end" rigs.
Tbh the PC market suffers from a couple things: people with too much disposable income, and buckets of elitism.
And that's why I'm looking forward to investing in either the NextBox or the PS4. And having seen the Crysis 3 Xbox vs PC comparisons, it seems that the XBox version looks 80% as good as the PC, which isn't bad for 6 year old hardware.
The PC version is properly a next gen game that the PS4 would stuggle to max looking at the spec.
Gotta love an armchair expert
You do realize that the specs of a console are in no way proportional to those of PCs don't you? So, for example, the 360 and PS3 only have 512mb of ram (that's 512mb IN TOTAL, not V-ram or system ram, but both combined) yet is able to make a fair attempt at running Crysis 3.
Even industry experts don't have a clue what the PS4 is truly capable of doing yet, all we've seen is unfinished launch titles, yet you claim to know better?
toned down unreal engine 4 is what PS4 will be capable of.

You know this how exactly?
Its rather silly that you inferred a maxed PC version, when it doesnt appear that foxeye said anything of the like...Anyway my post was regarding the comparison made that the 360 version close to the PC version. I'm not denying they done well on such old hardware but to state its close to the maxed PC version was just silly really.

Yes, I know full well the a console and a similar spec pc the console would generally win due to coding directly for it and more optimised.

Of course people in the games industry don't know what the PS4 is capable of yet? I remember both the 360 and PS3 at Launch and look at the games produced now.
Do you think the next gen consoles will be able to run games like Crysis 3 maxed at 1080 and above at 60fps? If it can then we are all in luck and I genuinely hope it can!
