PS4 and Xbox Rumours

Yeah agreed. All kinds of things tied to peoples accounts and not just trophies and GS. MS and Sony would count on keeping those existing users who buy into the new hardware.
 
BC doesn't bother me at all.
I'll most likely not get a new console til a few decent games are out and a lot of my friends have one.
I jumped straight in with the Xbox 360 because i'd had a PS2 before and never played online so didn't have any online friends(obviously). Whereas now I don't think i'd be able to game without playing with friends all the time.

Hell no... this would certainly be the kiss of death for sony console range..
why would they included this feature in a console when its already available on tvs and being ignored. Chrome books are not selling and lets be honest; no one would want an android based phone/pad if they could have or is willing to pay for an iphone/ipad.

There's the ouya, steambox and Project shield that's all android based and there's a chrome os coming soon for the raspberry pi.

Its not going to happen, but if they managed to get itunes and the apple apps store on it; then we are talking, but I'm an apple fan boy, is there such a thing as an andriod fan boy?

Speaking as someone who owned 3 iPhones and currently as an iPad 4, Nexus 7 and a Samsung Galaxy S3. My opinion is iPad is best for tablets and the SG3 is better than iPhone :)

OT - I will probably own both consoles but I'd be happier having a HTPC / Steambox under my TV and Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo releasing games instead of hardware, one can dream!

Let's be honest. We know what to expect from Xbox and PSN. Newer, better consoles but they will already be inferior to current tech when released.
The new console from Valve will be interesting though.
 
I brought a PS3 on release date. Never ever again. I'm interested in both systems but my Gaming PC will keep me going for the foreseeable. Saying that, imagine what the next-gen version of Uncharted will look like?
 
Now I have a Htpc I doubt ill get one until a few years in. Especially if steam implement more 2 player one PC games

By One I mean xbox. Playstation not for me at all
 
After needing about 10 consoles after the rrod and drive issues I said I'd never buy another ms console at launch.

Screw that I will order two! I'm not too fussed about back compatibility, I just hope the old controllers still work and stay the same.

That's the reason I don't like ps, their dire controllers
 
The only thing I dislike about the Dual Shock 3 is the triggers which feel like they have too much travel, they feel a bit spongy too. The positioning of the analogue sticks doesn't bother me in the slightest and I find it just as comfortable to use as the 360 controller which is also excellent.

Still, nothing beats the Dreamcast controller, dem memory cards! :p
