Oh I see. Yes, I don't like having a load of 10G games on my list either. But at least they let you remove 0G ones unlike Sony. But I doubt this will change next time as you could possibly delete all your mates' achievements if you were of a crafty nature. :D

Yeah, would be nice to tidy up my games list and delete all the crap I could never be bothered to carry on with and is sitting there at 5 or 10gs :p

I find the integration of Live on the 360 dashboard to be far superior to whatever it is that was tacked on to the XMB. I get the Hub/Community feel every time I turn on the 360 and see what my friends are playing/who are in party chat etc. I just don't get the slightest feeling at all from the XMB of any of that.

Soooo much this! Turn on the PS3 and it reminds me of my friend turning on his BluRay player (a Sony BluRay player that has the same XMB interface).

It's exactly the same feeling of a dead, lonely place to be. Can't tell if my friends are online or what they're up too. Have to load a slow shop to find out what's new etc.

The 360 interface (as garish as it might be) is such a more welcoming and dynamic interface that gives the impression that new stuff is happening ever day. It's the complete opposite with the PS3 - it's like it hasn't changed since launch in terms of features or content.

You just move over to the Friends section on the XMB, just as you'd have to go to Social on the 360. What's New will tell you what new stuff has been added. The new PS Store is fairly badly implemented though, it takes far too long to load up and navigate through.

They can both stand to learn from each other though, so hopefully the PS4 does more to bring content to the front, whilst the next Xbox tones down on the advertising and "BUY THIS!" approach.

have any prices actually been confirmed? or are both ps4 and nextbox pricing speculation?

if a dollar price has been confirmed, don't be surprised if it is $1 = £1 due to VAT now being 20% as opposed to it being 15% or 17.5% last time round as well as the $2 to £1 now being $1.5 to £1. sales tax is ommited in dollar pricing usually, so the price you see quoted is never the one paid at the till.

at the end of the day there's nothing you can really do apart from get a friend to export one to you or get one on holiday. iirc Japan is the cheapest place to buy a console usually, it's sometimes ridiculously cheap in fact compared to what we pay, so if you think american's get a good deal, the japanese have it even better.

they also get cheaper games too. the price you pay to live in the UK is increased costs on practically everything tbh compared to america and asia.

Reports that MS has registered a ton of stuff under the "Xbox Fusion" name?

This thing will be massively media-centred, I expect a big focus on TV/Movies/Music and general family living room stuff.
