and the stacks), but it's up there. Nowhere else, really, can I need to know how one particularly arcane piece of old server config needs formatting, and find not only ten other users of said software, but also the guy who wrote the thing... /r/openbsd

are gold mines. You'd be hard pressed to search something even relatively technical and not find a dozen results from Reddit answering the query. You need an ad blocker and old.reddit.com
to make it usable, but after losing Apollo and the way the management has gone I only go there when I need to, rather than because I want to.You are a reflection of what you hate and you can't see it. Antifa
No different to here IMO, if you ignore GD, the rest of the forums here are an invaluable technical resource.I really like Reddit if you make sure you are following sub-Reddits that actually interest you. It’s a decent substitute for discussion forums which are dying on the whole (I recognise the irony). A lot of it is an utter binfire, though.
What a load of tedious nonsence....
For one I don't spend my time moderating a right wing forum suspending and banning anyone who doesn't parrot the party line.
It's only dogmatic groups like socialists that need to force ideological compliance because their ideas often can't stand even moderate challenge.
Yes of course it is The right wing never ban anything, tell people what they should say, think or try to control people's lives do they.
This is what I mean, you are obsessed with the left/hard left. You seem to see everything though that lens and just end up sounding as entrenched as they are.
Reddit moderation is done on a community basis (or subreddits). Are you saying that all subreddits on Reddit are moderated in a far-left manner? That seems a bit of a stretch. Sure, there certainly are some far-left subreddits but all of them? No, that is a massive generalisation.I see things that are far left as being far left.
Such as reddit moderation which is well known to be ridiculously partisan in one

8 years ago?Maybe angry that /r/fatpeoplehate was banned so the whole platform must be commies.
Are you a grown adult?I used one niche gaming sub-Reddit until the mods, as always happen apparently, got power crazy and started banning people and blocking posts from those who disagreed with the directions/decisions the games Devs took and if you ever mentioned that the game company was based in Russia (literally just that) you were then banned for it, and I mean literally just saying "they won't listen to players on the EU server, they're a Russian company so they listen mostly to players on the Russian server" was enough for a ban for xenophobia, racism etc.
I had about 12k karma from that sub-reddit and deleted my whole reddit account after seeing how the mods were allowed by reddit, after people complained to them, to continue to be very nasty people. Whilst it'd be a shame to lose what is undoubtable some great info tucked away in various sub-reddits, if the whole platform was wiped from the web I wouldn't shed a single tear.
Even r/conservative is moderated by lefties! They're everywhere! Even the right are lefties! All he sees is Antifa everywhere. The man is as obsessed with culture wars as they are.
Are you a grown adult?
Aye lad. There's nothing in-between lurking and being a full time poster.I used Reddit for one thing, I didn't use that one thing anymore so I deleted my profile, just the same as people on twitter, facebook and many internet forums do every single day. Are you possibly a young person who is fairly new to the internet and maybe is unsure about how to quit a website?
