A week later and my RMSD tracking has updated, so my item should be delivered today.
Why couldn't this urgent prescription be filled by your local pharmacy?
Lucky you. My "local" Evri hub is a 70 mile round trip away!Local garage has opened an Evri parcel hub and as I'm mainly doing Amazon returns I'm finding it much more convenient than queuing in a post office to send parcels back, and that's on the odd occasion that it's even open.
Once they're scanned in the refund's issued so I don't really care if they lose them after that.
Doubt I'll be using the post office much in future if I can help it.
Two minute walk for me, rather than a ten minute walk to the post office.Lucky you. My "local" Evri hub is a 70 mile round trip away!
Just had something sent 2nd class on the 24th November only arrive now.
Lucky for whichever postie turns up on tipping day.Im getting all my stuff on time but then again I do tell my postie that I am on their side often and give him a xmas tip every year.
Haven't read it but I imagine it an increased based pay with lower OTE?Currys drops Royal Mail due to strike action
The electronics retailer has switched to alternative delivery firms for the time being.www.bbc.co.uk
Perhaps Royal Mail staff could go and work at Currys.
He said Currys' staff needed a high level of expertise in order to help customers and the higher wages were the price they were paying "for the right talent".Haven't read it but I imagine it an increased based pay with lower OTE?
No way retail can be bumping salaries like that, shirley?

You dont have the same postie all the time?
I also hand it to him direct. He also drops an xmas card through my door in return.
Nope. There's one I see more than others but no guarantee I'll see her at Christmas. You dont have the same postie all the time?
Nope.Do they actually get fixed? We've sent one van up about 3 times now and it comes back with the problem it went up for!
We have the same postie 90% of the time, and it's been the same one for years. I know when it's the other one on because he folds every letter in half before he shoves it through the door. ****.You dont have the same postie all the time?

One of the many posties we have does that. Earlier this year we had a letter delivered with a laminated certificate inside. It was betwixt two sheets of thick cardboard, the envelope had "Do not bend" stamped on it in big red letters and it easily fitted through our letterbox. He must've had difficulty folding it in half too because it had a ******* great shoe print on the envelope. Collared him about a week later and asked him why he decided to ruin our post, apparently "Uh, dunno" is a good enough reason. Guy is an absolute knobhead. We have the same postie 90% of the time, and it's been the same one for years.
