scary watching your videos Ed

you get used to it, it is quite a chance from the country lane cycling and tbh I don't feel safe there? :D

My poor heart! Bugger riding between vehicles like that. You track stand like a Pro though ;)

hah ;) I know it's not the safest way but lets be honest if you want to make progress in london you gotta learn to filter ? I know the risks. Track stands, how did you know? :P  you've been stalking me or what?

Ah yeah, forgot about the APR. In that case, i'll be there this week. But will try and get to the bundy the week after. 7pm is quite a good time for me actually, can get back from work and get down there fairly easily i reckon.

I didn't really lie down. I drank a massive coffee then ate a scotch egg, a packet of super noodles, 4 bits of toast, some grapes and a Rowntrees Fruit Pastels ice lolly. #mybodyisatemple #recoverymatters

Then i cut the grass, did the strimming and edging and generally did all the stuff i've wanted to do to the garden but haven't been able to due to lack of summer.

Hopefully be at the APR myself and the bundy on thursday, depends if I end up in Oban or not.

You sound like regards to the post cycle munch. Post bundy I don't feel like eating for at least an hour as my bodies turned inside out.

If you watch the video carefully you can see small side to side movements while the camera view remains perfectly horizontal. They stop once you have the position right ;)

Did my June 100 today, with 1500m elevation! Two steep as climbs in the middle, hovered around freezing all day, started out before 8 and got back at 12, fog didn't lift until 11 which was horrible. Just had arm & leg warmers, base layer, jersey and gilet on as I expected it to get nice from 9!

Had my sunnies on my head for 3 hrs 45, got them on for 15 minutes then had to take them off descending into the fog, put them in my mouth as couldn't get them on my head doing 60kmh down a winding descent.

Popped my bottom bracket cherry last night - easy init! Had a quick ride to try the Stages too in preps for a proper test in my commute tomorrow. The readings were higher than expected :)

Overshoes are only so waterproof, at the end of the day water will get in the top! I suspect the winter ones would be very toasty in this sort of weather.

50 mile TT this morning, got round in under 2 hours! so very happy and lots of eating to celebrate/restore myself!

What do people use for summer base layers, got some compression tops from planet x, but they're a little too warm, just want something meshy ideally, and cheap :D

aha! I don't think I was track-standing in any of these! maybe the last clip but even that wasn't a track-stand.

I do a lot of track-standing while commuting tho :) I was attempting to do my full 11.5mi commute to work/home without putting my foot down! best I've got is 7 miles :o
