The Wiggle site is utterly knackered. I'm really not impressed.
I bet it's just a case of the pickers/warehouse being faster than the automated computer system, I've had orders before that turned up next day before the system knew about it, especially when paying next day.
I imagine they get the order, confirm payment, and box it up priority, ship it then the system gets updated.
Usually Wiggle and DPD are pretty good FT. Must just be increased demand as others said.
You should get a message from DPD soon if it is actually going to arrive today!
Perfect! Craft Beer and Cycling, unless anyone else has suggestions.
Does anybody here use Photochromic glasses/lenses? I'm considering getting a pair as club rides seem to venture down narrow, shaded and poorly surfaced roads (generally your worst nightmare, treacherous).
Finding myself looking over the tops of my DHB and that they are bouncing around on my face the process. I took them off for a few climbs/descents and tucked them in my HRM strap but less faffing would be nice.
If so do you find they change quickly enough not to be problematic?
My fathers glasses used to be photochromic but the speed of change is somewhat less urgent on standard glasses.
Just back from near there myself. If you're heading over to the Aravis, make sure to add in the Col de la Croix Fry. Easier to see from a map, but do the Col de la Colombiere>St Jean de Sixt>Thones>Col de la Croix Fry>Col des Aravis then descend back down the Aravis via La Clusaz and back to Morzine via Entremont and Bonneville. The Tour climbed the other side of the Aravis but it's probably too far to do a proper loop from Morzine. I can suggest a route if you're game though.
Watch out for idiot motorbikes on the Colombiere - I got hit by one on Friday and ended up in a French hospital. Only cuts and bruises luckily but currently testing out my Bikmo insurance so I will keep you all posted.
