Rome 2 : Total War

The ramming seems like it's almost too powerful - around the 2:54 mark in the video, a smaller ship getting rammed gets completely obliterated.

wow.

Seems about right when the ramming ships 4/5times the size of the smaller one? Think of a humvee hitting a ford fiesta! haha

£30 for a game of this quality is fine (assuming it's as good as it looks & let's face it - they are pretty reliable so I think we can trust them with the money), more-so as good games have costed around £30 for the last 10 years, which is surprising when you take into account inflation.

On average I push 300+ hours on each of the total war games (over a long time) - which makes that £30 very much a worthwhile investment :D.

Guys the Total war series has been hovering around the £30 on release for twelve years, that's pretty good value in my opinion. Think I've racked up about 300+ hours on every title I've played from the series so far, I honestly can't complain when that's a few pence per hour compared to £4/hour at a cinema.. and generally vastly more fun! :)

Trade routes and port locations (sorry for large picture size)

Indeed. Looks ok to me. That ship was huge compared to the one it rammed and i have no doubt that in real life it would split the ship it hit apart.

That looks very similar to the empire total war map for Europe i.e. because of the inclusion of North Africa.

I wonder how long it will take for the Britons to be added as a playable culture?
