Can't say I like the battles, too fast and no sense of slaughter at all. Can't get close enough to really see the action, it's just guys chasing guys round.
You see THAT is exactly why i held off. I guessed the battles would be too fast -like the soldiers are all on steroids. Ridiculous!
Anyone else having problems launching the game? I get a 'disk write error'..not sure what to do?
you need to enter the red zone and then move again to declare you want to assault instead of seige.
Also on that one do an auto attack, if you enter the battle you will lose a lot of men because it takes forever to get the ships docked as there are not many points in the city.
Steroids doesn't make you fast.
Just Installing myself, doubt ill get to play much as I go on holiday at 4am I know how dare my gf book a holiday on the day TW r 2 comes out.
Guys just remember dont base anything on the vanilla game, this is just an engine the fun starts in a few weeks when teh mods come.
Example I played 1 campaign of the vanilla version of Rome 1. Would never of played the game after that, then I got Realism mod and ended up playing about another 40 campaigns.
Im yet to play it yet, But to be honest the game will be heavily supported and Im sure mods will be fully supported once again through Steam. So as long as theres no huge game breaking bugs winner.
Give it a few weeks and everyone will have there perfect mod.
Still no DLC code from Amazon...not happy!
How does increasing food have a negative effect on unrest?
How do you assign skill points to a general?
It keeps asking me not to end turn because of this.
Wtf is this food/unrest nonsense?
How does increasing food have a negative effect on unrest?
"Please note that this code will only be usable on the day of release - 3rd September 2013."
I think that must be wrong.
For instance I used my DLC code from GMG yesterday.
Well done Sainsburys
Got the DLC code as well via email
Time to install...
Fair enouhg. Unless they expire tonight?
It would seem an odd thing to do unless the devs are really limiting the pre order DLC
