Rome 2 : Total War

Ok cheers guys for the response to confirm this.
Should alleviate pressure on the servers for downloading a bit (maybe in hope? )

Probably a bunch of testers, hence the skewed stats.

Haven't pre-ordered this yet, but I'm sorely tempted to grab it. Can't decide whether to go for Amazon and have a nice old-skool hard copy, and risk missing out on playing it on day 1.

(that is, if my internet returns to life in time to preload it!)

Like a TW game? RTW was in the same setting and didn't look like Civ

Yeah the map is very Civ but even the characters you have in the corner of the screen during battles look very similar - I'm not liking it at all

It is the main focus for strategists.........
But if they are making it look more like civ they might of ripped off other things from it
and civ is crap, copying bits of it will make a game worse
 
My sainsburys entertainment order is now preparing for despatch :). Seriously cant wait for this game.

I presume even if we get the boxed version early we cant play it until Tuesday?
 
I'm all preloaded but away on holiday until a week on Sunday. Please no one play until the 8th so I don't get jealous!
 
Anyone know if the Jungle download comes with the Greek States DLC? Ordering tomorrow!!

Just realised its the DVD. Anyone know the cheapest download location?

I thought that but some say it is standard edition (Zavvi) and deffo does not come with the dlc, it even says the lower price is reflective of this.

Cdkeys is cheapest but it is skirting around the question on both Facebook and email.

Gmg is the cheapest that definitely comes with it.

Does this deffinately come with the dlc?

I have placed an order but could see no mention of it.

The official Rome 2wiki actually gives the same link for Amazon as you have on the page which discusses the preorder dlc. I. E. It says you get the dlc if you preorder from one of our participating partners and has a link to Amazon there.

How much is the dlc to buy separately?

It specifically says about the greek culture pack on the Amazon page for Rome 2 :confused:
