Rooney - 2 B Sold

that doesnt prove much - when he is selected fans still want him on the winning side, and as he is the likliest to score (even with current form) he would be chanted

Doesnt mean a lot of people wont be annoyed with some of what he has done

What a complete ****. Honestly, who does that? If I was Ferguson I'd be kicking him out the door now.

Are fans going to welcome him back with open arms? Ferguson sold Beckham for less than this.

makes sense for man utd. Keep him on whatever wages and a long contract and if Man U win nothing this season, he can go but for a much larger transfer fee because of the longer contract

Of course Utd fans will welcome him back, football fans are fickle (not just Mancs). As for Fergie, Rooney's far more important to Utd than any player he's kicked out in the past. I mentioned it earlier in the thread that this is probably the first time where Fergie will have to swallow his pride because of Rooney's importance.

If he scores a few goals and works hard, of course they will

Why do you keep trying to make this a Ferguson issue, and that he's getting one over Ferguson by signing a new contract? Ferguson said all along that the door is open for him to a sign a new contract, he never wanted him to leave.

Probably good and bad news for Utd, to get him to stay they Glazers probably had to promise major funds for players?
