Russell Brand.

Considering he is worth around 20 million I think his London flat and lifestyle is pretty damn humble and modest, I think it's safe to say most other people (myself included ) would be having it large with 20 million in the bank!!
Instead Russell has decided to dedicate a lot of his time to help local people and community projects, not sure how anyone can knock that with a straight face???

He's always divided opinion. Some people just give him crap without actually having a look into anything he's said. People preaching that he does nothing while they sit in their underpants drinking gallons of coke and contributing absolutely zero.

Define worth though is that 20 million liquid cash 20 million in assessing including ip rights ?

He's all talk. Uses unnecessarily convoluted sentences to try and make some sort of intelligent point but actually ends up saying nothing. Pure waffle.

He's like the typical school bully, taunts and taunts, and then when challenged can't fight his way out of a wet paper bag.

The post I quoted?

Im confused. What do you mean? Explain what makes him so bad.

I don't think he's bad in any meaningful way. He's unlikely to commit genocide or blow up Parliament or do anything interesting but he's in that uncomfortable position where he has a lot of money yet wears his West Ham top over his diamond-encrusted Gucci vest while telling people who have none of his life-benefits to not vote using painfully verbose speech.

I don't understand why he gets the media coverage he does, particularly in terms of politics, but he does so it is what is.

He does more than the people who are in here slating him.

How do you know what I do?

"When I was poor and I complained about inequality they said I was bitter, now
I'm rich and complain about inequality they say I'm a hypocrite.

I'm starting to think they just don't want to talk about inequality."

Russell Brand.

Maybe people just don't want to talk to him?

Mark Twain:
Never argue with a fool, onlookers may not be able to tell the difference.”

Brand doesn't always get it right no, sometimes he makes me cringe and can be almost childishly naive. However he can also be eloquent and profound in his arguments and clearly his heart is in the right place.

He is one of the unique people in our society who has seen the gutter and the penthouse and for that reason his voice is worth something. Using the wealth and notoriety he now finds himself with to highlight issues is something to applaud.

I think he is sparking imagination about politics, in a climate of stagnant apathy how can this be a bad thing.

Brand seems to ride a very high moral horse, but it all just seems like a "lot of hot air". He seems to be very good a criticizing others without having any real solutions other than constantly banging on about "bankers" and "the establishment".

He's amusing and eloquent in an odd sort of way but he does grate on me, he uses a lot of words but actually says nothing at all. He seems to think that using lots of big words makes him clever enough to play with the "big boys" but without any substance it just makes him seem foolish.
