Haven't htc already made ics available for the sensation? Would be be to see ics soon given samsungs involvemwnt with the nexus.

When I purchased mine the saving was almost £100 which is a heck of a lot. I had a mini scare with my phone where I thought I'd have to return it. Yes it's definitely a lot more hassle than using a UK company but amazon make it as easy as they can and will refund your shipping costs.

The warranty is a European wide warranty. There's no specific German or UK warranty.

Just received mine from Amazon.de , with the saving I purchased a 64Gb microsd card at the same time

Nah, both the note and GSII can handle 64GB. Just pop it in and get the device to format the card. Filesustem support was limited to FAT32 but you can now use NTFS-3G for NTFS support.

Aside from vanilla ICS UI not sure why people are so excited about ICS I've played with my note on Gingerbread 2.3.6? and one using ICS 4.1 release candidate? and there was very little difference aside from some fairly minor increases in performance/response, fairly small tweaks to notifications and settings and nothing else I could see at all from a quick glance.
