Samsung Galaxy Note: 5.3", 1200x800 SuperAMOLED, S-PEN stylus, 2500mAh attery... *phew*

The rainforest is the cheapist!
Especially the .de rainforest! ;) Just less than £380

Its killing me to wait, but waiting until Galaxy S3 Specs are announced.

Any pitfalls to using the .de site?
Presumably same hardware and compatibility as UK sourced device?

Just can't decide whether to go with this or the extra power but smaller screen of the One X and newer ICS?

Only a casual observation and could be due to other factors i.e. installed software but both people I know with a note bought from the .de store (on out the box firmware which is a different version to mine) run a fair bit more sluggishly than mine from from a certain UK store.

Have to take mine back to o2, only had the phone since Feb and for some strange reason everytime I plug it out from charging it continues to think its being connected and disconnected.

Gets extremely annoying when listening to the radio and/or when the phone is on loud. It even indicates that its charging whens nothing plugged in, but I dont think thats possible? lol

theres a contract deal on O2 though phones4U that works out to being £372 with the potential for £50 off via cash back: http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/bac...mins-unlimited-texts-250mb-data-o2-21-1197260

Thanks for the link. It just got me thinking about getting one.

I haven't bothered up till now as I have a GS2 but it seems that for the sake of a few quid a month I could enter one of these contracts and get a free Note!!!

Anybody bought through phones4u? Any good? Their deals are often better than direct from the network. Particularly attracted by the 28.50 from Orange.

With that o2 deal you'd really have to add £240 to the price to account for your likely GiffGaff sim at the lowest goodybag for the necessary unltd data, I did that and I'm v happy with the deal and fone but if I was doing it now I'd get a contract on Three, I think I saw a place offering a Note on 3 for 24 mnth unltd data at £28 a mnth which I think works out a few quid less than I pay over all.

o2 have my Galaxy note to send back to Samsung, apparently theres a good few of these along with the S2's. Down to a software probelm apparently.

2 weeks until I get it back :/ feel lost without it

Ben
I have had two phones from them in the past without incident and yes they do have some keen prices

My wife has the SG2 and great a phone as it is - the Note is just so much nicer to use mines about 5 months in now and I will never ever go back to the smaller models
looking at the sg2 now is like operating on a postage stamp compared to the Note which is just an immense bit of kit

Has anyone ever seen a silicone case for a note with an in built screen cover, I like silicone cases because they adhere to tables, chair arms and pockets to some degree, provide good drop protection but apart from the few mm of bumper don't provide the screen with enough cover, so any book style silicone covers??? Thanks.

It's shocking how much the price has dropped on these! Nothing in the market can compare at this price point.

I saw it for £360+10 del on ******* with a £10 giffgaff voucher for 250 min ultd text n ultd data it's £25 a mnth over 24 with that data has to be the best deal available, it beats my deal by about £7.
