Samsung NC10

The NC10 can run OpenOffice or MS Office 2007 fine. The resolution is fine for such work too.

I've set my current laptop to a 1024px resolution to see what it'll be like and it's fine, I even forget that I've switched it now.
 
If the Black is more a Flat black like the original eee's it will look good, but high gloss I think personally looks cheap and nasty.
The White Samsungs are a Satin peal colour which looks very good and may be the nicest colour but untill we see the Black & Blue who knows...only trouble is by then all the whites will be sold out :D

I'm looking to pick up one of these in black as soon as they become available. Basically whoever gets it in first will get my business. I was just wondering Lozza, (or anyone else) what is the wallpaper that you have showing there called? Or what is it from? I love it!

Yes, but general consensus is that there is no real performance boost on the atom netbooks with the extra 1 gig. But if you want to yes you can :)

These are great thank you very much Lozza! As for the ram debate, I'm putting 2 gigs in. We all want the best equipment we can get. Maybe the difference might not be huge but if it helps me multitask just a bit quicker and keeps things running just a bit smoother then 20 pounds or so is more than worth it for me. Even if i can't see the difference I feel better knowing that i have that extra gig.

Well you can pretty much be sure Office 2007 wont be preinstalled. I would have thought something like MS Works would be (maybe someone with one can confirm this?) - but if not, just get OpenOffice, it's a reasonably small download and I find it good to use (though it's not as pretty as Office2007)
 
For all us lot holding out for Black/Blue doesnt look good for this week!

Just rang up to check on it, said he couldn't give me a date.

Obviously this was only a support guy so could aswell be receiving them tomorrow...im just so impatient! :)
