I installed from USB stick and merged the c and d partitions. I backed up to an external hard drive using the samsung backup Software.
 
How many of you were surprised that the NC10 was much smaller than you expected? I went to a local computer store and saw it for the first time, looking pictures and some youtube videos does not prepare you when you see it for real.

Heh, I can't remember! I'll have to check out the receipt... Hold on!

Edit: 30GB - I don't really need bigger. I'm using less than 10GB of my 160GB at the moment. I just got real peeved off because I was downloading a file at about 1MB/s and my computer was grinding to a halt. I blamed the hard drive :p

Hey, I was thinking about getting a 24" screen, but for not much more I could get an NC10 and its rather quite tempting!! I was wondering about upgrading the RAM and if it was possible, but Clown said he bought some so im guessing it is! Will all ofthese work?

We'll see after easter what my pay check is like and if I can stretch to an NC10 :D
 
no point in getting more then 2GB anyway, not really not that powerful netbook, its good for surfing and typing and music and videos. I got 2GB PNY 800mhz ones for 15inc del
 
quick question about the recovery partition

i installed windows 7 and put the os partition at 30gb and used the rest for storage

i thought i would just test the recovery procedure today and pressed f4 and got into the recovery process

i tried to restore but it says recovery partition is too small

do i need to format the drives again?

ps i have no d drive

And yes I believe that is either a Bluetooth or RF mouse dongle.
