When I use displayport and go to advanced display I see peak brightness of 800 nits do the same mini hdmi and it reports 10,000

Edit to say did some calibration adjustments and it now says 1,000 for display port.

To quote myself reconnected mini hdmi did the calibration and got a max of 410 this time... not sure what the randomness is there in results.

Thanks for the info, I suspected it would utilise the extra (double) bandwidth somehow! Does it come with a miniHDMI-to-HDMI cable?

Yes it comes with mini hdmi to hdmi

Looks like I'll just have to wait for someone else to recommend the best settings but I've got it set up quite nicely now and am happy with how it looks in 95% of games.

Just saw I had to change to 12 bit in Nvidia control panel so just done that and it worked. So I'm guessing mini hdmi is the way to go (not clued up on this stuff) but will run with it anyway.

10% window reading is low but sub 10% it goes up as his in-game readings show.

Perfect EOTF tracking post cal is great to see.

It’s an aw34 with 240hz and 32:9 form factor. just setting expectations. Which is a great thing overall.

Has anyone one got any thin verticals lines going too to bottom on their screens. Mine has one just off centre. I'm considering asking for a replacement as it's quite noticeable when not gaming.

Nope any defects = return that thing within your return window.

Got the system calibrated now with the display guys icc profile, probably worth the £1 spent to get some initial settings going that have been tested

sure someone will share them for free, but he spent the time to make the video and produce those settings so only fair to help out

How much a difference did it make

Massive difference, once it correctly boots me into windows at 1000 nits, for some reason it boots me in at 400 and 1000... when it says 1000 nits then I feel I'm getting the calibration as intended

• 1xDP, 3x HDMI is nice I guess but lack of USB-C is disappointing.
• Weight is pretty massive. It's 15.4 kilos without stand, whereas the older Neo G9 is 11.9 kg. I have no idea what VESA arm would support this. I wonder if we will see specific models from Ergotron for this.

Otherwise doesn't really reveal anything new.

I hope it releases worldwide around the same time. I hope in EU the price is under 3000 euros with VAT.
